Hello Dr. Lee, I have 11778G>A,1, So I'm 30 years old with no symptoms. I mean, yes, my vision had gotten more blurry over the years from far away, but not glasses worthy. Considering this is a 82% Penetration Rate, how worried should I be? I noticed there are trials being done in Miami? Is there any possibly way what so ever to prevent the onset of Leber Disease? I obviously don't want to go blind, no one does. I'm currently in the beginning stages of getting this figured out. They are verifying my Promethease results which could take 8 weeks, then to an ophthalmologist to check my retina. Is there any information you can provide me? I would appreciate literally any little thing. Thank you so much.
