I'm very impressed by the Mavs coming this far, they have done so much with so little at the start of the season and with the trade deadline they became a monster of a team with a cool team identity. I hope the Mavs win vs the wolves and crush Boston, but whatever happens, next season is going to be cool!
If the mavs can rebound every Possession and defend edwards they can make it to the finals.

I believe it means the most for the Dallas organization, 2 finals appearances in 3 years while not making the playoffs says a lot . We need to at least get to the finals

Dallas has way more x factors that can propel them to victory....After Luka Kyrie and the 2 bigs Lively and Gafford....They have 7 players who have all gotten hot from 3 in either playoffs or regular season...PJ Washington.Tim Hardaway JR, josh green, Derek Jones Junior, Jalen Hardy and Maxi Kleber ( hopefully Maxi is back). Someone is bound to get hot each night...Mavs in 6 .
Pg the great thing is that we the people knows about our team and the dallas community, we should just enjoy and embrace the community and the team right now and not to worry about the idiots outside, they are just click baits who cares about them our energy should be on our achievements not those negatives. As a mavs fan, I'm with Isaac on this one, MIN will be a really tough matchup. But I still believe that with the proper gameplan, we can still win this!
I also think here are the keys to the game:
1. Luka's 3s should hit. (Pick n roll to switch with Gobert) As long as he's hitting his 3s, MIN will blitz him and it's 4 on 3 that opens up the floor for everyone.
2. When MIN blitz Luka (and I know they will) Luka should take care of the ball and avoid the TO. And just incase he loses the ball and they fouled him but isn't called, stop complaining to the refs and go back for defense like what he did in Game 5! Focus on the game. 🙂
3. Kyrie should be aggressive from the start!
4. Everyone must hit their 3s (and I'm pretty sure they'll be wide open)
5. We must play big, fast and aggressive defense (hoping to have Maxi back ASAP)

Genuine question as a Timberwolves fan? Why will they be wide open 3s? The only way they are open is if they double one of kyrie or Luka, and even then Minnesota is better at rotating on defense than any other team in the nba. Luka has historically struggled against Mcdaniels, and Ant has proven he can matchup with kyrie 1 on 1 in the past. While i obviously don’t think Minnesota will shut either of those players out, because good players will get their numbers no matter what, I don’t think open 3s should be one of your keys to the game, especially considering the Timberwolves just beat the nuggets who are way better at finding the open man. Its what they do. No offense by the way. If you are taking wide open 3s all series long, you will win the series. Now, if one of your keys was we need to make all of our open shots, then yes. I agree. They will happen throughout the series no matter what. Especially when a team adjusts to the other teams strategy. Maybe mavericks will go 5 out small with pj Washington at the 5, and Luka at the 4 for a game to throw Minnesota off. That’s what’s cool about NBA series is just seeing how a team adjusts.
I think keys to the game if I was being neutral would be..
1. Luka doncic and kyrie Irving strategy to get mcdaniels and ant off of them in pick and rolls because going at them 1 on 1 for an entire game is a losing battle.
2. Limiting kat, Gobert, and Reid with pj Washington and Gafford. Not let them win the rebounding battle.
3. Send 2 players at Ant all the time. Make him pass the ball early and don’t let him get in a rhythm.
4.How will the role players shoot in this series on both sides? Mcdaniels, Reid, Conley, and walker for Minnesota. Pj Washington, Gafford, Josh green, and hardaway for mavericks. (I’m not sure who I missed on the mavericks, but do let me know)
5. Heart. I know this sounds cliche, but in game 7 of Timberwolves vs nuggets, Minnesota was diving in the ground, crashing the glass, and doing all the small things Denver wasn’t. It was the difference in the series.
That's why one of the keys is to have pick n roll switch with Gobert. Luka can take on Gobert any time. So that's why I believe MIN will blitz Luka. And when they blitz, it will be 4 against 3 that's why someone will always be open. Not saying MIN will not rotate, and I know they can really defend. But the 3s I'm saying will always be a catch and shoot
Not also sure about Luka struggling against McDaniels. I think he scored 39 and 33 against him this season and that's even before the trade deadline. But hey, it's the playoffs, so let's see.
And to be honest, I know MIN will really be a tough matchup. But like I said, I still believe in our team and I know Kidd will have a gameplan for them. And as a basketball fan and Mavs fan, I know that I'll see 2 teams playing honest physical defense. Really can't wait for game 1!
I just can not remember name but in 2022 season mavs destroyed highflying Utah Jezz and destroy their franchese and in this time Luka make fun of one tall player that should be best defensive playedr but Luka pick him every single time and score past or over him... does someone remember this player name?
Might feel like a cop out but it means the most for every person top to bottom from the front office to the players. Like they always say in the huddle, they do all this TOGETHER.

To me, it crazy but Kyrie is playing like he doesn’t even have a championship. It’s as if he is like Chris Paul trying to get one before it’s all over! Outside of Luka, it’s for Kyrie! Honorable mention of Lively as a rookie and his mother passing and PJ the home town boy.

For Kyrie, I think. Luka is still young and will have multiple shots at winning a chip in the future.
Loved Legos as a kid wayback when. I didn't have any fancy sets, but I did have lots of pieces I got from here and there. It helps with the creativity. You don't have to build something by instructions and just leave it on the shelf. It's actually fun to play and build something from your own mind. PS. Make the switch from American Idol to Survivor - that stuff is still going strong and really fun.

As tall or taller and more skilled at most match ups. MN has no player as good as SGA. Mavs now have the consensus best player remaining in the playoffs. Irving is probably better than any MN player. If Mavs hit 45% of uncontested 3s, they win. If not, need MN to shoot poorly, caused in part by Mavs D.
Minnesota is easier opponent then LAC and OKC were! You will see this after first 2 games! MAVS in 5!

MIN Are a way better defensive team than both LAC and OKC I do think the MAVs will win but it has to come down to the role players and hope they hit their shot and getting back on defence. Luka has to just play and not complain to the refs, Kyrie has to put his scoring cap on and hope pj is still gonna be balling like he has been. Lively needs to play like he did in game 6 against OKC he's great and we need him for them big lads in the paint in KAT and Gobert
@@gavinjordan2157 I see big diffence between twolfs and LAC and OKC in fact that OKC and LAC had 4-5 players tha can defend all positions in play all time. Twolfs have 3 players that can defend only 1-2 positions. Gobert need to be under basket or he is lost, Conley just opposite, cat has slow feet. Those 3 will be abused and twolfs has noone to replace those 3. Just look what mavs did to gidey!
