I think it looks great. When I saw the title of your video before even viewing it, it motivated me to cut some inches off. I needed to because my curls were starting to get straight on the ends (not sure why because I haven't seen that action since 3 years ago when I first transitioned to curly) so now my hair is a little pass my shoulders. I do use heat once a week even though I'm a natural but that wasn't the cause. So by next wash day, I'll see if I I all the straight pieces cut during my next wash. I just grabbed my scissors and went for it. I always cut my own hair (wish I had someone to but my hair seems to respond well to my own cuts), then my husband cleaned up the parts I missed. I scheduled my mini chop for Nov (so nervous, lol)... but yeah long thick hair is beautiful, but just wayyy too time consuming (especially when you and your daughter both have long thick hair)!
