    There wasn't much space between that Eagle which took of before and this plane... Doesn't he need to wait longer?

      I think he kept a safe distance between departures, but it probably would have been ideal to wait a few seconds longer. My guess is that there was an inbound aircraft approaching faster than ATC had expected, so they told our pilot to go ahead.

      @@campolindo18 It depends on different factors. If departures is ready for the aircraft and conditions are good then it can take off as soon as the runway is clear. The pilot also does not have to worry about much wake turbulence from the American Eagle too. If a heavier aircraft that could caused a lot of wake turbulence was ahead then ATC would have waited to give clearance.

      Well the eagle could have been given instructions to make a immediate turn in the opposite direction
