- Hi. Hope you guys are doing great. Apologies for being a bit MIA lately. If you follow us on our our socials, you know we’ve been busy and have been focusing on our families. But we felt like it was high time we at least told you a little about what’s going on. I apologize for not being one of those amazing iPhone movie directors 😊. I’m still in LA with my family right now and I'm just winging this after snacking on some coconut chips. This is totally unrehearsed but from the heart. Maybe we come back in a few days or so and do a Q&A on Facebook. Will keep you posted on that. Thanks guys! Love, Sherri

I know that for many this was bittersweet, but I'm STOKED for all of this news. I love that a) They're still creating and not turning it in because of babies, b) That they're all happy and healthy to DO the family thing, c) I personally LOVEEEEE Sherri's writing and have been hungering for so much more of it, d) And that it doesn't mean I have to miss out on Stacy's writing because...Sucre, obvs, e) Even if the live shows will be a bit of a different format in terms of who's on stage that night, it's nice to see new faces and get a bit of a surprise - plus I've adored Christie especially for so very long. .....and f) SHERRI'S CUTE FRIGGIN FACE.

Ya know, your song 'Trollywood' is really as good as most Beatles songs, truly that is a masterpiece of melody. It's like an almost ''unknown'' classic pop tune. Keep writing, you people have wonderful talent.

Hey Sherri, just wanted to say congrats on the baby. My wife and I are expecting in November, and are naming our baby Eisley because A.) I grew up in Tyler and have always thought you guys were awesome, and B.) It's an awesome name. Hope to see you guys when you're over here in DFW! Cheers :-)

I was literally just thinking about how it's been two years since Currents came out (wow!) and was hoping new music was on the horizon... I definitely agree with another comment saying this announcement is bittersweet *but* we all know the Dupree family is insanely talented so if anything this will be an interesting next several months for all of us. :-)

Hey Sherri, I just saw the UA-cam video of Say Anything performing in Norfolk, VA where Max collapsed on stage and literally could not function. I hope Max is well, as a fan of both your band and his, my prayers go out to your family. People will probably not take this seriously but I just don't want venues to see/hear about that footage and mark Say Anything a liability, leaving us fans shit out of luck of ever seeing them, and even possibly preventing future album deals. But anyways, keep rocking and may both your futures be prosperous and positive.

I love all Eisley stuff, but I have always preferred Sherri's songs the best. Some musician's writing style just matches up with what I really love in a song. In this case more of the rock ones. Bands change, and that is okay, your fans will always be here waiting to devour every morsel of new music. Thank you.

I mean they haven't said anything about her permanently leaving or anything as far as i know.

Wow this is not what I was expecting at all... No new record in sight and Stacy won't be touring or contributing to the new album. Sorry to say but this sounds like the beginning of the end for eisley. Really sad 😕
Update after the release of I'm only dreaming: sorry I overreacted like that. The new album is great and sounds 100% Eisley. Also I read some interviews about what you were going through during that break up and how hard it was for you and it makes me feel bad for doubting you and saying Eisley is dead. Really happy you chose to keep going 😊
