Awesome video man! I've just got tickets to Boom 2023 and then Ozora 2023 the week after! Would absolutely love some advice or any tips/tricks for those festivals! Thanks!
For Boom, I highly recommend to get there as soon as possible, like in the front of the line, because all of the good camp sites get taken very quickly. You will want shade! The sun is very hot & unforgiving. Also the line gets very long after 1 day. I’d recommend freezing a giant water bottle than can be a giant ice cube to help keep your beers cold for a few days. Bring caned foods, like clam chowder or chicken noodle soup, something you can just open & eat without having to cook. Be very careful about the fake drugs being sold, a lot of fake drugs. Anyone selling coke is fake with everything! They come from Lisbon. Get to know people around the lake, I found it was the best place to meet people & get good stuff. Try and buy it from someone from Amsterdam, but be suspicious. Bring a floating tube for chilling in the lake. The best place to grab water is at the community center where people cook & wash dishes, I’m not sure why no one else figured that out, some people stand in ridiculous lines for water, but the community wash center is always quick & easy. Bring a strong battery back up for your phone/ camera because the charging station gets very crowded, if you have to charge, do it late night while no one is there. Be careful with your valuables in your tent! There were alot of people getting robbed, I think it was the guys from Lisbon selling fake drugs. Have a blast 💥 & cheers!
For OZORA, you will find it much easier than Boom. There will be plenty of cold water & more shade. The food & beer prices are a little better too. Just be careful for undercover cops & yes, more fake drugs. A lot of fake stuff going on. I found that being social in your camp as well as the food hall was the best way to find what you need.
