Always wanted that guitar but it only came in green and black. Bought a black ESP in his model and refinished it just like the one in his video. Coolest guitar on planet earth.
There was a time when the 6 string version as shown here was also available in both blue and white, with the blue one appearing the same as the guitar in the ATF liner notes photo. I was inspired enough by that image of the guitar that I made a similar 3/4 size one out of ceramic in high school art class back in 1998/99. It was not playable, and the powder blue glaze changed quite a bit after firing it in the kiln.
@@JonCurcio Yeah, that’s right! I spaced those finishes. I see they offer those again (LTD only I think though) and now a burst finish (but it’s WAY too dark and not anything like Step’s ESP in this video). I’d show you mine, but I don’t know how. It turned out beautiful though and i had never refinished a guitar. I think I just lucked out. I seriously finished it 2 days ago.
@@er1cmaurer Yeah, the one in this video is more of a black to yellow burst rather than the more typical tobacco looking sunburst they offer. I agree this one looks much cooler.

I don't think he's using any here other than the distortion on a mini amp of some kind on the couch. The poor audio quality is an effect, though.
