@@shrekkk2573blinded by nostalgia, chapter 2 was best map and had some of the best seasons ever (eg c2 s2 when the bosses and vaults came out). Chapter 2 best, then chapter 1, then 3 then 4. Anyway in the end it woyld be personal preference, there’s no right answer

I miss when skins used the old default skin model, like the "soldier" (i think its called) from save the world. Rogue agent and season 2 knights are my fav for it. i haven't played any of the new chapters, i played season 2-5 then quit because i didn't enjoy what fortnite became. But I am seeing it as a community style game, just a thing we all can hop on and vibe with, just like it use to be in season 2. As much as I will miss some true og weapons like the LMG (the old version was genuinely my fav) with the new movement tech and no build allowing me to truly just vibe, and the inclusion of sensitivity multipliers for when you are holding building schematics, I actually can fight builders again. I use to be one of the better builders way back when. But people use to forgoe aim for building. 1V1ing then I would always win because eventually we would go into a 1x1 and my movement and aim was plain better. But i could never be aggressive like I wanted to.
The game seems amazing now, just wish my brother (and even me) gave it so much flak. It's very saturated, but I am learning (basically already learnt) to love it for allowing kids a game to express themselves and it being friendly to kids. I just WISH we had a game where the military skins are in the artstyle alone. Like raptor, frostbite, and the soldier skins look great. I miss when that was the norm. I am still inlove with this art style. I picked this game up because I was a huge gears of war sweat. And it was made by epic games, so I thought I could get a chill game with satisfying shotguns, and I DID. For so long to, then I quit when I saw that they was tryna make the game comp and they just added weapons to be vaulted. I have changed my mindset, still unhappy things like the old LMG is never coming back in the way it should, but I manage.
Incase you're curious, the old LMG was basically a 100 round, slightly less accurate assault rifle. It had first shot accuracy and around the same accuracy as an AR but it shot much faster and got to greater bloom faster. Why I loved it though was because it had one amazing damage number... 25, why is this number amazing? It means you can 4 shot people (8 shot with full shields) with great rate of fire and never needing to reload, and you can pressure buildings too while others pushed. BUT if there was ANY damage fall off, it would drastically decrease its effective damage. if it drops by one point (which it did often) its suddenly a 5-10 shot killer. And its precision isn't very good, you can't tap fire a man down like with a AR. But it was MY WEAPON. Aggressive pump player who enjoyed covering my teammates. It was perfect, you could forgoe a light ammo weapon with a pump if you don't mind having to be more mindful with your shots. I loved carried extra meds for my team and I was always believing "shooting is useless, should only shoot at the best time, because they would just build" (I also believed, and maybe still do believe there should be some form of pierce mechanic) so I usually never waste surprise with a AR shot so my medium ammo is usually 1 and a half box mags for the LMG. It was literally ME and i loved it, didn't stay around long though. I used it again in a custom game, it just plain ain't the same.
(also with the pierce mechanic, I think if you just propped up a building that the bullet has a 0.25 second "or something" window to pierce and deal significantly reduced damage. Maybe you can make it where light ammo can only pierce wood, medium wood and stone, and heavy pierce it all, idk but I believe rifles and such should have more uses. I havent played in a long time but I was a HUGE veteran [not a sweat, I did sweat for my friends, but never alone, i play it to relax] back then. So I don't know a lot, but even if you don't know exactly what something should be doesn't mean your input is useless)
