Now this is the proper time for a bootleg upload. Glad to see they finally let you out of the dungeon, Brett.
I think I speak for all Philadelphia... Thank you Brett
One reason I love these guys so much is because they over analyze what the outcome to match can be
Ohhhh man..... I CANNOT WAIT for your guys off-season series.
Just a suggestion for future years, kinda liked that this preview show was RIGHT before the game. I feel like in that first bye week we get an overload of Super Bowl content, I'd prefer you guys to do All-Star Game or Draft/Offseason content and do the Superbowl episode right before like this. Glad you guys are well, thanks for an awesome season of content!
Never been less enthused about a Super Bowl. This is literally the only preview show I’ll be watching😂
Rooting for Hurts cause he's an east side H town kid. That's all the skin I got in this one 😂
Thank you guys...a semi-silent listener here from The Philippines 🇵🇭
Learned so much about the game and looking forward for more!
Did... Did Brett forget to plug in his XLR cable? At least he uses earbuds and not speakers?
Yeah his audio sounds like he’s slightly underwater or something
Might just be the gain
Thank you, I thought I was going crazy.
Commenting to boost this so Brett sees it…. Love you both…. This is for sure coming from Brett’s earbuds
You guys are awesome, I'm always excited to watch y'all's previews. As an Eagles fan I find it disappointing to make an hour long video without mentioning how the Eagles defense match up vs the Chiefs offense.
How do the eagles cover Travis Kelce, especially with Nakobe Dean out? How do the Chiefs block Jalen Carter, do they have success against IDLs? The importance of Cooper DeJean trying to stop the short yardage, lateral offense from the Chiefs. Eagles are forcing a lot of fumbles, but both teams are great at ball security.
Thanks guys. Philly by 10.
13.5 minutes on the Bears + Myles Garrett, 19.5 minutes to tell us that if Spags can stop the run Jalen doesn't do well vs. simulated and zone blitzes, then 10 minutes of betting BS. Definitely disappointing going into the weekend as well as a Birds fan but I've appreciated the season of shows.
I appreciate them putting this together considering how sick they've been, but this really feels like the most phoned in analysis we've gotten all season. "Just stop Saquon and force Jalen to throw." Yeah no shit, like everyone has been trying since week 1.
Aren't all those Eagles you mentioned out with some sort of flu?
@@JMH94if the boys have one flaw it’s probably prioritizing. I‘ve seen 1k sub channels with a more complete approach to "the big game“, but then again, we get an hour each offseason about assistant special teams coaches, so I can‘t really complain
Boy's i've been waiting for you all week, if i had to see Nick Wrights face pop up on my youtube feed one more time before i got some decent analysis i might of had a stroke.
Honestly that insight with regards to zone blitzes is so much more insightful than most of the content I've consumed so far this week. You've done your peers a favour by putting this out so late!
Great masterclass from Spags
Even better one by that Eagles DL lol
maybe it's the recovery from illness for the gents, but was hoping for a more in depth x's & o's of both offenses and defenses. this matchup is for the nerds, I feel like meat was left on the bone
NGL, I'm a 12 and in full on mock draft mode. I can't freaking wait for the offensive and defensive gems episodes! I have been thinking about them for weeks already.😂
It's been draft season since the giants game, we went out sad this year
After an 11 hour day and another one ahead of me, i needed this
Omg the breakdown of pressure at 20:18 is excellent brett!!!
My fave Super Bowl food is jalapeños filled with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon
Thanks for pushing through to get this episode out. I can't wait to see all the good stuff you guys did at the shrine bowl.
Finally the Super Bowl preview we’ve needed
Gimme the Birds: better o-line, defense and weapons!
You forgot one side of the ball, the refs
Chiefs have better coaches and qb that’s the real thing that wins football games now
Eagles better score points fast. I'm not comfy with them trying to win coming behind after half time. Especially if it means doing more passing downs which means Spags will be even more dialed in.
I think something that Philly should bring into this game is the read option element. Change the numbers in the run game which changes the rules of engagement. If KC has to respect that Jalen can pull the ball and run on any given play, it'll force a response. One that could make Saquon's day easier.
They do this pretty much every week with RPOs
@@40nerdhdjddhdjjdjdjdjd I know they run a ton of RPOs, but adding Jalen to the math would likely cause some more confusion. Plus, Jalen is basically the exact same size as Saquon and has athleticism that if you squint is comparable. That's why I would take say 4 RPOs per Quarter and change them into Read Option plays. It might force KC to respect Jalen's running ability, forcing more vanilla defenses, thereby giving the offense an easier time.
@@blueredlover1060 Jalen has the ability to run on most of their RPOs
This isn’t the 2000s defenses are prepared for running qbs
@@40nerdhdjddhdjjdjdjdjd Normally yes. But NFL players & coaches are prone to some things: fear & anxiety & empty rhetorical memes. Mahomes excels when plays break down. So other teams react by laying back & not trying to break them. The mindset shifts. & instead of planning aggressively, they want to sit back & wait to see what the Chiefs do.
It's a losing method, sure. The problem is, this fear sets in their _subconscious_ minds.
What the Eagles' coaches need to do is Talk Out Loud about these actual problems with the players, show them the film of what to look out for & arrange Who Does What in which specific circumstances. Because they didn't do this last time, Reid saw a flaw in their coverage, tested it twice to see if he was sure, then used it to scheme the last 2 TDs that beat them. While they probably can';t account for *every eventuality,* you need to show your players that you're prepared when your players will be worried whether you are. Even though coaches don't like to share this stuff with players, this would show them your heads are in the game & _that_ would mentally prepare them to not make mistakes.
It's the super-bowl. If Sirianni goes about it his normal way, the *_"I'm_* in charge, so _you_ have to Obey *Me* no matter what I say" the players would likely _want_ to lose, in the hope that it might get him fired.
Thank you for all the content.. I only have one major issue : we cannot ship your bootleg gear to EU :(
On the topic of gochujang, my go to “Big Game” dish is Tommy’s Super Balls. Basically sticky gochujang cocktail meatballs that you pick up and eat with a tooth pick:)
I think you guys are discounting the fact that the Eagles changed around their offense this year because of how bad they were picking up pressure. They have been much better in that area this year than in 2023.
Yeah, that D-Hop TD sounds risky, as a Chiefs fan, pick your favorite amongst Kareem Hunt, Worthy, Pacheco, Kelce, or Mahomes rushing (if Underdog has any of those lines, I don't live in the US, I don't know), but yeah, good luck everyone, hope y'all enjoy the big game!!
Also, I pray to the football gods to give Luke Kuechly his golden jacket
NFC Contenters with QB settletd:
GB, DET, PHI, WAS
Do you think its possible that Kellen would predict Spags trying to Zone-Blitz Jalen? If so, what if any are the possible options that the Eagles have?
Haven’t missed an episode in 9 months, heck of a season guys!
Finally now that the episode is out I can do things
Surprised Jalen carters name didn’t come up once with the chiefs o-line issues
I had noticed you guys hadn't posted a SB episode and was getting worried!
I had a friend recommend this channel four years ago due to the knowledge of football being dropped that he figured I’d enjoy. It’s been a blast watching this and Brett’s journey along the way!
I miss the alcohol content a little bit, just due to the fact that I like hearing about different brands and styles of alcohol. Amazing content and a great crew!
Waiting for the Senior Bowl interviews!
I think Myles getting to go to Detroit would be nice. Reuniting him with Z, with Aiden in the mix sounds like the right thing to do.
Gentlemen, see you on the other side when draft talk starts! Thank you for a great NFL season. Finely, RIP Mrs McCaskey. So pleased that her last 🐻 game was a win over the 🧀
Atleast the pick for a D`Hop touchdown was correct.
Will we get a breakdown of the Eagles D-line on the filmroom channel?
"oh yeah the Super Bowl is also happening." -- Surely you mean the "Big Game"?
My biggest factoid that I think everyone is ignoring is that the chiefs have never played against saquon before.
13:30 Elite Seguesmanship from Brett there.
Was hoping to hear your thoughts on cooper kupp landing spots, maybe next episode
I'm sure there is a beautiful home available for you in Door County, Mr. Garrett.
Browns probably only get a 1st, a 2nd, and some late round picks. Totally justified after the franchise became synonymous with grape. I wish nothing but the worst for that team.
The Hawks need a super star pass rusher to round out the rotation. He would make this defense top 3 unit
Eagles have a new OC and a new offense from 2023. Is it going to be the same pass game? Not just because a different OC is calling plays (less screens 😂), but Saquon opens so much up in the passing game, and opens Hurts running option runs and RPOs. Spags is a defensive genius, but just cuz he solved the 2023 puzzle doesn't necessarily mean he solved this Eagles offense.
Zone blitzes are more of a problem for Hurts, but zone blitz is a risk. If Saquon gets into the secondary, that's a 70 yd td run. Eagles aren't going to be afraid of running on 3rd and long if they see the opening. The Eagles oline can open it up the middle against outside blitz, and Saquon bouncing outside kills teams if they blitz inside.
Birds by 5
Trading for miles garret is definitely a rams type of move especially if they want to squeeze one more ring out of Matt staff
This is low-key like the Jimmy Butler situation that the heat just dealt with
Christopher Walken at 15:06
35 minutes in and no love for Vic Fangio and his defense?
I really think that the eagles gotta stay 11 personel as much as possible
Myles to the Commandersssss
Baby back ribs🫡
I think the Eagles are really gonna surprise a lot of you. They’re way more dominant in the trenches, and Jalen Hurts isn’t the same quarterback he was last time.
I don’t think that his price is gonna be too high rlly. Like sure Garrett is one of the best if not the best defensive players in the league but he’s still like 30, id expect a first and either another first or a couple day 2 picks roughly
I feel like everyone this week has been “well the eagles are the better overall team but, like, they’re the chiefs 🤷” then pick the chiefs by 10
The past two SBs, KC was the lesser team and still won. People don't want to shoot themselves in the foot again by picking the more talented team. Even Vegas has them as the favorite after two years as the underdog
Of course none of the predictions play out. Instead of a run heavy close game, we get a blowout where neither team can run the ball
They certainly tried to! Just neither of them could actually do it lol
Not even gonna watch the super bowl this year, never been less enthusiastic about the product the NFL is giving us. Chiefs win again on a last second roughing the passer call, probably.
Literally never happened
The Buccaneers would be a great fit for Myles Garrett.
Eagles beat the Chiefs last season with an inferior team and coordinators (offense ans defense)
The Eagles this year are vastly improved with 2 experienced coordinators and players. Especially Saquon and the #1 Ranked Defense.
Eagles will run them off the field and bring home their second Lombardi come Sunday. 🦅🏆🏈
And the 15-2 Chiefs aren’t better than the 11-6 Chiefs?😂🫵🤡
12:19 The Saudi’s have the opportunity to do the funniest thing….
The browns are in a long term rebuild with the Watson fumble and they need as many picks as possible back.
Myles Garrett is 30 and not in the timeline for the browns rebuild. The browns absolutely should trade him this off season when his value is at its max. The money doesn’t make sense for the browns but that doesn’t matter because they aren’t going to be winning for a couple years minimum.
Hope he goes to my Lions and Brad Holmes says “F DEM PICKS”. Maybe we could trade them a 1st and 2nd if we add Hendon Hooker who has a legit chance to become their future franchise QB.
This game is about Saquon vs the KC linebackers and corners. I predict the Eagles will pound it to the outside away from Chris Jones unless the Eagles line can control Chris. They'll run it over 30 times.
I could actually see them running at Jones early in the game to wear him out then have their way in the second half.
BANGGGGGGG
Brett’s audio quality is awful
Cant wait to see yall explain the pounding the eagles gave the cheifs d
There is only one reason KC got here and are favourites , and every footballfan outside KC knows it . Least anticipated superbowl in history !
I bet this Super Bowl will be top 5 most viewed Super Bowls in history. Your just emotional
@Hurmspeedy maybe ...most of them will be teenage girls trying to get a glimpse of Taylor Swift
Cry harder, it’s funny
>green bay
>qb situation settled
Yall need to fuckin stop this Jordan Love shit lol
NFL is going to let the family keep the team there’s probably going to have to be a consolidation plan.
Let’s goooo
they don't wanna admit the Packers are a great spot for him lol
Did EJ mention who he has winning?
I think the possible sneaky Gem for props is Pat on the over for Rush Yds+Carries. Last I checked, it was 5.5 line for carries, 30.5 for yds. Pat runs more often in higher leverage moments, and if Philly runs Man coverage, Pat can break one for 20+ yds
Oh, absolutely. In the last 10 playoff games where he didn't leave midway through with injury or wasn't nursing such an injury from the previous week, here are Mahomes' rushing lines:
Conf. vs. Bills: 11 att, 43 yds, 2 TDs
Div. vs. Texans: 7 att, 14 yds
S.B. vs. 49ers: 9 att, 66 yds
Conf. vs. Ravens: 6 att, 15 yds
Div. vs. Bills: 6 att, 19 yds
W.C. vs. Dolphins: 2 att, 41 yds
S.B. vs. Eagles: 6 att, 44 yds
Conf. vs. Bengals: 3 att, 19 yds
Div. vs. Bills: 7 att, 69 yds, 1 TD
W.C. vs. Steelers: 3 att, 29 yds
That's an average of 6 carries and 35.9 yards per game, and that yardage total is sunk significantly by kneeldowns. Also, it's in the closest back-and-forth games that he tends to rush more often, and I feel like a lot of folks-myself included-think it will play out that way.
I dunno if he breaks a 20+ yarder but Mahomes may get a series of 5-7 yard scrambles that still threatens to move the chains. So he'll still could cover for rush yards overall.
@@t4d0W In either the AFC Championship game, or Super Bowl, normally breaks 1 or 2 of those, "How the hell did he get that much open field to run, and how did he get that many yards as slow as he is?" Runs, lol.
great predictions guys! football brainiacs at it again
Brett curse strikes again
Gonna be honest. I forgot about the Super Bowl. I'm more interested in the trade drama at this point
Niners not a threat to get myles???
I love how Brett just straight up stopped bringing up "what does Sirianni even do?"
18:35 Even with a better KC offense in that Super Bowl, it wouldn't have been a big credit to Spagnuolo's defense. Tampa picked them apart drive after drive
Are you two related??
ELI MANNING SNUBBED
If you think Eli got sunbed then Willie Anderson got robed
3-peat loading......
Least excited I’ve been for a superbowl in awhile.
Also, since it’s the bears, they will sell the team to Elon and we can all ignore that organization even more after
One defensive coordinator is going 0-8 against Pat My Homie. 😂
Did the Chiefs make a mistake taking Worthy and letting the Bills draft Coleman?
Hopefully we'll see in year 2. Coleman is no where near the high point Mosser that he could potentially be. At the same time Worthy is not as reliable beating press at LoS but Reid has found ways to set him up.
Another year I root for the meteor, because I hate both teams.
First.
Jeff Bozos will, unfortunately, own the Chicago Bears
