If you hold the effect button down You get different settings for each selection. Example..hold it on the hall reverb setting and it gives you 4-5 (can't remember lol) hall reverb settings
@fightingzero actually if used it with just single not riffs that go through the root and the 3 of the scale and it works, it can still pick out the key of the song.. the song I figured this out in was remedy by the black crows during the chorus, "can I have some remedy etc.." its just a guitar riff with no full chords, still works but it was going from the root straight to the minor 3rd though..
I just got this peddle and so far I have one major issue with the design. The 1/4 guitar jacks are so close together that you cannot use cables such as Monster or Whirlwind. The ends are too thick to fit side by side. You need to use adaptors or cables with the "old school" skinny metal ends.
Great informative video. Just one quick question Does the pedal add any effects to your guitar or do you add effects after the pedal? Thanks again, I just ordered online and cant wait for it to get here so that i can fire that puppy up and jam.
Thank you very much for posting this! I'm between this TC unit and the DigiTech Vocalist Live 5. I'm looking for the one with the best tracking and the most realistc harmonies. Could you help me to make a choice, please? Cheers from Brazil! =D
The Harmony sounds good at about 10 . To me the harmonies sound fake or robotic at halfway . great tutorial. Are we stuck with the preset effects or can they be altered?
If you can send a dry signal from your guitar rig will it adjust the harmony properly? IF you are NOT strumming big simple chords? If you are playing rockin', blues riff stuff.. will it still figure it out?
My harmony level knob on the extreme right is too loose and I hit it with my foot in performance on a regular basis ruining the harmony balance. Anyone know how to tighten the knob?
Hey how do I connect this to my Konplete audio 6? It has phantom power and I am using condenser mics. Using it all on Cubase 9 LE. Can't figure out the right connection.
Scott , thanks for your interest in the subject, I have a tc helicon gxt a few months ago, and I just bought a nano looper pedal ammoon, but I do not know how to interconnect it so that my voice and guitar sound in the loop. I have read the manual of the g-xt but I am not clear about the idea and I do not dare try to try for fear of burning one of the two pedals. Correct me if I'm wrong, it occurs to me that I must connect my guitar to the GXT through the "IN" input, and the TRH is an output that I must connect to the pedal and pedal to the mixer ???
This does not use USB in/out like a recording interface, assuming that's where you were going with that question. TC Helicon has some other options like the Voicelive that have in/outs like what you're after. The Harmony G XT simply is easily used in live and direct-in/overdub recording situations.
Maybe this is not the right place, but can I use the tc helicon mp-75 microphone with a different brand wireless system like akg and such, or will the 'mic control' simply be unavailable in a wireless setup?
I am looking at one of these...I used to have a VoiceLive2 and it was way too much for what I needed. Question for you, how hard is it to get accurate harmonies if I don't want to plug in an instrument? Another factor is that we play 1/2 step down. Can that be programmed into the unit?
Luis Alejandro Acuña TC Helicon didn’t have that technology available 10 years ago when I initially put this video on UA-cam. Thanks for the view and counting my words. I forgot this video was even out here.
Just got my GT XT on Friday and I'll be listing it on Ebay on Monday. IMO it's the the most worthless piece of junk I've ever purchased...inconsistent harmonies, very little control of parameters...useless. I play/sing for a living so I'm not an off-pitch newbie. I'd love to find one of these that actually works, but I'm not sure there are any. I got rid of the Digitech VL4 because it was inconsistent too and it was 100% more reliable than this peddle. My 2 cents...great quality vid BTW!
@@fightingzero Ive Had the T.C Helicon Voice live 2 for a Number of Years and Definitely Know How to Program it , But i was Trying to describe In a Text how Good The Harmonys Are and Wanted to send them a Video of How it Sounds as There Going to Be the New Singer with My Band !! And i can Definitely Show Them How it Works once they Visit My Recording Studio So i wanted a Video of its Sounds more than Someone Talking About it !!.
I love it when Danzig teaches me a tutorial. ❤

Great video! Very informative.
I love this pedal.
@Boris - read the description of the video

Where can I get this pedal...having a hard time finding where to buy!
Very helpful, thank you so much
Is it possible to set the on/off foot-switch from maintained to momentary operation?

Please! people don't want talk they actually want to hear the equipment in question!!!
infonator1 its a tutorial / walkthrough

it will take it as a root note i believe but if its doing thirds im not sure if it defaults to a major or if it guesses.
I find i get feedback if the tone knob to the on position with the input set to 12 o clock.
How do you turn the “Uhhh” setting off?
Very helpful thanks.

He does not tell you how to plug it in to an amplifier (which does not use mike jacks)

Can you just put in a guitar like signal (for example, a saxophone) and modulate that?
What do you think of this pedal vs the tc harmony singer pedal?
He's high right?
Ah..,ah...,ah..,ah..,ah..,ah....Ah..Maybe . Ah...AH..Ah...Not sure .
Please help me ..i have this harmony gxt..i need to connect with a loop pedal and use with a mixer .....how is the rigth way to connect all???
Ronald Lara what is your goal? What kind of loop pedal? Need a bit more info...

Hi !!
I want to get one, but is it necesary to swich the guitar on, or can you use it just for the voice without the guitar .
Thanks so much.
I want to know if this supports USB Inputs and Outputs. If not, do you know one that does this stuff with USB Inputs and Outputs?

Completely off-topic, but is that an Axiom 25 i see?
will it work for multiple mics If you're using a mxing cosnole?

does this work without a guitar? I mean, can it recognize the note you are singing and give you a 5th below for example?
thx!
can this unit be use for multiple microphes?
Can this go direct to powered pa speakers without the need for a mixer?
Use: acoustic guitar & one vocal mic.
No.Its not amplifier.

EH Voice Box X TCH HArmony GTX: What's the score?
how much??????
Hi dude!
Does it work if I play with distortion sound?
yes
You must sing!!!!
Wish my lady friend also came with De essing
Don't they make an effect to filter out all those "aah"s (about fifteen per minute; I counted). It's distracting, man.

Hi, Does this have chromatic pitch correction?
Yes. The problem here is the inability to control the amount of pitch correction. In Harmony-G XT there is no control parameter, just on/off.
Uhh...
why you talk about it if you do not know singing yaou show apsolutley nothing about TC-Helicon Harmony-G XT
где демонстрация работы прибора ? видео говно,минус
BAD & DUMB Review. FightingZero does not know how to use the device, and we NEVER heard how it sounds!
TOO Much TALKING and NO DEMO !!!
Congratulations on commenting on a 12yr old video and didn’t bother to read the description, either, Alan.

Not much of a demo,,,would have been nice to hear what it does instead of a unnecessary explanation
