Many thanks for this video Carl and i did have Quasar Science in the 'where are they now file' if truth be told. Whilst there a seemingly a lot of pluses with the lights, the fact that they're not designed for use as background lights does slightly limit them. Now that they're available to see I hope we'll see ProAV at the London BSC show in April with the Quasar lights?

Yes we will definitely be at BSC this year. Looking forward to it! Planning the stand now and kit list isn’t final, but I’ll try and get Quasar Tubes on the stand if we can.

@chris The double rainbow units are much more geared to be used in shot as well, since it's a clean look... the controls are more hidden at the end, and it looks more like a traditional lighting fixture vs a fluorescent tube. they also can dim down a lot more to make sure you don't blow them out in frame, so it's been really easy for me to get a better in-camera exposure of the light surfaces. 🤷🏻‍♂️ different look, though, than a single width tube.
