This is fabulous , and exactly what the hobby needs . We have to encourage the young ones to build these lovely kits or the future of model building will fade away . ....and this gentleman has done a perfect example of what's needed . Being a modeler all my life , I say thank you and well done. Cheers
Doug that was a neat build! Boy do I know the forgetting a part situation all too well! I just ordered a bunch of Lindberg 1/20 scale trucks and SUV's from eBay so I'm staying busy on the bench! Thanks for sharing my friend!!
Dug+another great build great content keepem coming hope you get AMT 1/25 SCALE international transtar 4070a cab over model Round2 just retooled the old ERTL kit from the 1970s
Several of the HotRod kits are body variants of the Buttera '27 T sedan kit. The only one not accurate was the '34 Ford coupe. That body was scaled smaller to fit the chassis.
Awesome build, Brutha! I think this kit is in my stash, but I believe mine has a light blue 27 T on the box art. Hopefully mine isn't molded in blue as I can't remember.
Cool kit, this looks much like John Buttera's Lil John hot rod kit from 1975, is this a re-pop of that kit? I almost got that one from OldModelKits.com but someone beat me to it!
Max, I don't think this was a re-pop although it may have shared parts. Thanks for watching! PS, please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers. -Doug
