Fantastic Video! Thank you. I just built 2 guns last night and spent a little time playing in the G4IR software but this helps immensely, I'm also now thinking i should add some extra buttons to each gun for Start & Select, Thank you! :D
I built for the lowest common denominator which is Aimtrack 3 button guns. So I can start many games because I make them free play and trigger activated, but when you need a coin, you have to have an xbox controller (select button) or a keyboard/arcade to press 5 for coin. If I mapped it to a mouse button you'd be inserting coins all game. =)
I just saw there's another light gun out there: UltiMarc Aimtrak. Have you used it before and would you recommend them over Gun4IR or Sinden? They seem to be cheaper. I did a search from AimTrak on your channel and didn't see any videos on it.
I need to make a tutorial video on those as well. I have all the lightguns. Aimtrack doesn't have the accuracy of Sinden or GUN4IR I found. You need to stand in the same place where you calibrated for Aimtrack to be consistent I've found, where with the other two options you can move freely, especially with two player.
Not if you place the marwuee monitor location (in windows display settings) to the corner of the primary monitor. This way it doesn't extend your primary monitor's height or width.
Great tutorial video! This drive will alleviate any problems many people are having with their gun games!
This is some of your best work and and extremely valuable to the community!
Id love to see a viideo on setting the guns up in retroarch

I'm in UK so cloud version preferred
Of course. It's only available as a drive at this point. jasen@integrumretro.com
Which you like more? GUN4IR or SINDEN?
I prefer GUN4IR. Easier to setup and consistently accurate under any lighting condition. Also no need to overlay a border for every game.
