Blue Chip picks are awesome, and given that they start at $35 each, the one I've owned for a couple years may as well be glued to my fingers. I splashed out and ordered myself a couple more for christmas. Highly recommend.
As a semi professional musician who plays upwards of 80 shows a year, the picks are a good call. My recommendation for straps, though, would have to be the d'addario locking straps. Super affordable and it saves you from trying to find strap locks for your guitar/bass. It's basically a hot swap keyboard for your straps. It's saved my butt more times than I can count.

I got the Behringer UCA something something It's an audio device to convert analogue to digital audio takes in RCA/Aux and gives USB out while doing a pass through and a live monitoring option (headphone out with volume control) Super helpful in mobile game streaming setups.
