That is why I wanted to share... i think that pretty often we are stuck making choices which we don't fully know what the options look like in person. So helping others learn more about these through the three versions we have or have had I feel could be a way to better translate some of these into reality.
Awe I’m glad you are helping AVM out. I watch him since you asked us too. I love his accent and his adventures. Really like when he cooks too. I hope he hangs out awhile with you. Maybe he could do some more building on his van while he is in your town. That would be cool. Love ya both.
Thanks for checking it out! I talked us could help some people figure out space a bit better when it comes to the various sizes but also answer a few of those questions that I’ve been asked
No problem I’ve been wanting to do several videos to share the differences between power stations and also refrigerators so that people can have this as a easy way to be able to compare and contrast things I’m hoping to do one very soon with power stations
Absolutely I have learned that based on what kind of rig that you select and also what you plan on doing with it your need for a refrigerator may vary greatly
Very helpful information. I would love to get a fridge someday instead of using an ice chest. But for now I am only car camping so I will wait until I retire and then get a fridge ❤️
I started out that same way and it worked great but i can say the fridge really changed the way that I am able to have cold storage with less watery mess....
Nice comparison, I didn’t buy a 12v but it still lasts almost 2 days on solar. I like how you can program these to the actual temperature. Mine has 1-10 settings and the low settings still freezes things in the back. I need to play with it more to get the temp right.
Setpower is a sister company to Iceco. Instead of using more expensive Secop/Danfoss compressors and controllers. They use Huayi compressors. Which are copies of the Secop/Danfoss compressor. You'll always know it's a Secop copy if it's has a high/low range. A friend just bought the Aj40. Off their Mothers Day sale. At my behest. If he gets three years out of it. At the $220 he paid. It'll be worth it. I'm still waiting for the 5+ year returns on these cheaper 12v fridge/freezers. But for people that can't afford it. These Setpower and Alpicool 12v fridges are the ticket. I have two Iceco's that I'm running in my big rig. They are okay. I'm a fridge snob so to speak. But they are working. One is ran as a freezer the other as a fridge. I hope they last a good while.
@@BunnyPlaysHere When I say long term 5+ years. I have a friend that has a ARB 63qt that's 15 years old and has pretty much ran it's life as a freezer in his big rig. Or my old CFX Dometic. That I sold to a friend. And it too has ran it's life as a freezer. Both those examples are still running. And it's not uncommon to see Engels and National Luna fridges that are 15-20 years old on the National Luna side. And 20-40 year old Engels are very common.
Great video. I'm looking for a tiny little freezer but they are very hard to find in this country. Bunny, I really love your videos but may I give you some feedback? Could you look at the camera when you are talking? You looking off to the side is disconcerting. It's like you aren't talking to me but to someone else in the room. I love your videos regardless. It's an interesting insight into American life 😊
I have mentioned this numerous times on my channel. I appreciate the constructive criticism however, this is my particular style and it is who I am as a person and how I film in a much more relaxed Tone. A lot of times it is because I am holding my camera to the side, and therefore, even though it appears as though I am not looking into the camera, I am looking into the camera.
No, the fridge that I was using Shown here was actually too large…. so I had been using a smaller different brand fridge and it was starting to act up, which is why I opted to move into this particular one. It was the same size as the smaller one which I needed because of my set up in my van. The larger refrigerator is still working, but it has been given away.
You are such a beautiful person thank You for the tips
Your so kind. Brock is so deserving of it. He is a great friend
absolutely!! I am glad it could help him out!
You always have such good information and advice bunny thanks.
I try to just share things that make things make sense to others in hopes of helping with some of the many choices which come along
Hello
Bunny 🐇 Like the Fridge Idea! Cool!👍👌✌️🤞🙌🙏🇺🇸🌅🌄🌞
Love seeing the differences and similarities on both of those! Thanks!

He was in town about a week so we got to go on some great adventures
So helpful, thanks for the review!
Great video foe comparing sizes.

Thanks Bunny, I needed that info on the different models!

Wow! Lot of info. On the refrigerators 🙀
Showes there is a need of options🤔 🙋♀️
Absolutely I have learned that based on what kind of rig that you select and also what you plan on doing with it your need for a refrigerator may vary greatly
In addition to drying the interior I've always been taught to leave it open just a tad, my 3 way is always propped open an inch when not in use!
My set power won't go up past 10 no matter what I do 😢

Just got mind yesterday

I am very pleased with how they work and have spoken to several people who have used them LONG term and had no issues.

I have the setpower j30, i turn mine off at night. It stays cold all night and saves power.
Very cool!!! I have something interesting you might enjoy seeing tomorrow...... so 9 CST check out my channel :)
How do van lifers stay Cool besides running the van air? Is there portable Air conditioners?
Yes, there are portable air conditioners, you can set up solar and run on demand split systems you can use cooling blankets or basic fans

@@BunnyPlaysHere Fair enough🙂 I'm a new subbie so haven't heard you speak on the topic. Apologies if my comment caused irritation. 🌺😊
But the basket would help circulation, wouldn't it? Or is it flush against the sides and bottom?
It allows movement of the airflow, but at the same time I use this particular refrigerator with and without it, and had about the same result
@@BunnyPlaysHere good to know! Thanks 😊
Didn't you say the fridge wasn't working right? That's why you got a different one?

these fridges run appx 40w a day
In optimum conditions, I could see that potentially being the case, however, mine have always run more than 40 W a day
Nope. Closed up means it can't shed heat.
