Roman thank you for sharing the map. It helps a lot. 40 hours is amazing. I just went to Kuramathi and very rewarding. Vilamendhoo would definitely be my goal next February.

Thank you Patrick! Snorkeling on both Vilamendhoo and Kuramathi is very good. Cheers, Roman

Thank you for sharing. We just came back from Vilamendhoo last week. The best ever snorkeling experience. Vilamendhoo house reef is amazing. Lots of fish, sharks, turtles, eagle rays ++++ . End of time manta ray and whale shark turned up in house reef but we missed them.

Great Job! Was there in 2019. Hoped to see that corrals become better ...

Thank you for sharing. Its always good to see the Maldives underwater. Unfortunately, what you have just documented is the almost complete destruction of what was previously a thriving coral reef full of many live corals. The ruins are haunting.
    Great quality video and production.

Thank you for your kind comment ReefRunner! I know it is devastating! The reef must have been a true stunner before the coral bleaching. Best wishes, Roman

You’re right. Vilamendhoo has just about the best house reef in the Maldives. I was in Vilamendhoo end 2019 - am a passionate diver, and also passionate about not destroying the Worlds Oceans. I had really hoped that the islands reef could have recovered during the pandemic from the idiots that stand on he corals etc. in their ignorance. It’s really, very sad to see that this has not been the case. What you see from this video (although very well intentioned and nicely made, is the marine life desperately searching for food.
