How great is that to have a Civil Engineer to help you! Always good to have Engineers in the family! My husband is a retired Electronic Engineer. He comes in handy to be sure!
I like the drone footage. Really gave a perspective of how it's going to look. The metal crate came in handy. Good thing Jen Jen was there to load it up. haha
Hey Tim, excellent video. I loved the education on how to put together the cement mixer. You really are brilliant at step by step instructions. In fact that is the best CM I have ever seen, trust you to find the best one👍👍. Jen and you worked really well together as always. Hope you both enjoyed the bike ride after, to relax. What an absolute joy and advantage to have a civil engineer on hand. I am just as proud of my Lawyer granddaughter 😂. Have fun guys ❤❤
I don't know Tim, every time Jenn comes to The Ridge, you are working that girl! Hope your at least getting a steak dinner out of this Jenn! LOL Good job both of ya! Love seeing the drone footage too.
Hi Tim thats awesome you have it all measured out. Thats so interesting. I dont speak that math language but I understand what you mean 😂. Thats a bunch of metal poles. Thats a lot of steel. Morgan and Jen have been a big help. Love the drone footage so amazing. Love it. Thats a nice concrete mixer. Its electric. That is a lot of lumber. Good place to stack it. Have a great day and God Bless Go RidgeLife ❤
Ty for telling about tripod sprinklers. They are great for my garden. Took one step farther and got a timer for my sprinklers . One of these days I will get the timer hooked to my phone so I won't have to go out to water...lol.
Hi Tim, you and Morgan have made lots of headway. The drone shots show it pretty good awesome shots. Jen is really giving it too, hard working lady. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
idea bud: have you considered split-rail decorative fencing? doesn't look like you have all the cedars for posts like david, but, just a thought, that would look very nice and rustic on that awesome spread👍 go ridgelife! ( and get to work😆) God bless!
Think I would have put in some piers for the shed. It's going to sink in the ground. DD5 and David's ground is rocky enough it ain't going to sink much.
Speaking of co-sign and on sounds like my husband , he’s an engineer and he tells me how to do measurements I just look at him and he says never mind lol .🤔
Tim I have been doing some thinking yes I have been hurting my brain just for you😊 I thought why don't you get a chipper and keep all those trees that way you don't have to burn them and you don't have to get permits just get a chipper
Important question for you Tim! From your overhead shots with the drone it looks like your carport is next to the barndaminium, but how tall is it and will the barndaminium block the sunlight to the solar panels once it’s built?
Thx Jennifer for being such a good sport , take care 💕
She sure is!
Planning is everything in my book and I do appreciate a solid plan like yours Tim. Enjoying watching it come together slowly but surely. ❤🇦🇮
My sentiment exactly!

So true! Thanks.
Jenn Jenn your ALWAYS working so hard on the Ridge. I know Tim is blessed with your presence.
Working you like a plow mule. Lol
Good to see ya.
You got that right!

I love seeing the outlines!!! and you guys did a great job on stacking that wood in that heat. I am in Arizona dying at 120 F so I feel your pain

Great idea
You are going to have a sweet looking house and grass.
I hope so!
Think I would have put in some piers for the shed. It's going to sink in the ground. DD5 and David's ground is rocky enough it ain't going to sink much.
I had min dozed and compacted first.
Tim you have a beautiful property. Have you posted the plans for the barndominium? I can't wait to see the progress on the homestead.
I have but will do an update soon!

It would take years to chip all those trees. Some of them are bigger and diameter than the chipper entryway.
@@RidgeLife I was referring to one of those monster chippers with wearing 18-wheeler has to bring it in
love vid thz Jen is a gem

Funny you say that! I brought that up yesterday and got the spec for the barndo height today from the drawings and will test. Fingers crossed!
Awesome I’m so happy for you guys
Thanks!
🙋♂️❤️👍😊
hope you put plastic down and rock where the shed goes..
Nope! Not recommended by the mfg. We will have it on hard packed soil on blocks with anchors.
First
Boom!
2in is alot out of square .Good luck
Ha! That's not the build tolerance. That was just for us to get an feel for the layout and angle with the sun.
@@RidgeLife dude i build all my life so 2 in is crazy out of line.Good LUCK
@@JamesRoss-m9g you don’t get it. This measurement wasn’t to build by. It was to see the layout of all the buildings.
❤ Tim I guess you're OCD will not let you change your placement of the solar panels 14° for the best sunshine?
Sorry for picking on you. Not.
I can't adjust the panels on this carport. I did that on purpose because I would be changing them not stop! HA!
@@RidgeLife you can adjust the placement of the barndememinon lol
Or the solar carport placement to get the best sunshine.
