Herc was the first hero I got at the start of the game, I didn't notice he was broken until I took him out of my party for a bit and got thrashed around like a rag doll.
I always make sure I have him in my reserves, just in case. He's like my insurance policy lol
I got herc with a 3 turn invincible ce as my first, cleared levels easily.

Pretty much how I'm grinding Nerofest right now. I am using the event CE that doubles his damage and I just cut through the enemies, although it does involve letting best Kouhai die so I can Brave chain every 2 turns so I don't know how to feel about it.
2 merlins+Heracles=pure devastation.
+Dat Boi you wrong, Tamamo caster + Heracles + Merlin, sure pain every boss scene XD
herc, merlin, jeanne. with jeane and merlin, herc gets 2 shields on top of his evade, as well as help recover HP after guts kick in. also will be easier to charge NP due to having 7 arts card in the deck

he would need similar skill's, namely mind's eye and battle continuation
They should have at least considered making him Grand Archer. Although I love Orion and all.
Detherocable also on that note, they should make an unnerfed Artemis with her godly skills as an archer class servant, she has a skill to apply sure hit for 5 turns, death immunity for 3 turns, and triple restoration in one skill, evasion of arrows, critical increase, and defense increase for 3 turns on another skill, and lastly a increased attack against males, NP damage increase, and a NP charge for another skill, and her Noble Phantasm should be a arrow shot from the moon as an Anti army attack nuke that is a arts card with her QAABB deck, she’d be a 5 star for a reason

Commenting to say that I've been screwed a number of times in story mode. Team gets wiped out, but my last man standing is Heracles. Mystic Code buffs up and he annihilates bosses with Buster Brave chains. What a guy.

You know what would be a really nice thing to know, especially since the game is pretty fresh in North America? All the invisible stuff in the game. On the surface, it looks like servants only have two stats: attack and health, but under the hood there's a lot. We got traits, crit star absorption, weak to Enuma Elish, saberface, etc etc.
What are those stats? What do they do? And how they impact each class's general performance?

When I started playing my standard team comp was Gil Herc and lvl 90 Gil support with Cu in backup. In theory the front row is a fragile team, except for all the enemies that you sweep through on the first turn so you dont take any damage. Now after grailing him to 90, I still sometimes bust out a Gil Herc (now lvl 100) support Gil. It's literally just a bunch of grunting and laughing, and I gotta say I love every minute of the slaughter.
I love Hercules he was in my first 10 pull and he has been in my setup ever since. I just got lucky lucky enough to pull waver also. So I feel like I have a pretty strong team.
i need to level mine before i can make good use of him.
Waver + Herc = you are set for life

G&A Reviews basically buff herc as he flattens everything in his path? Im trying to get the regend to stage 2 so i can lvl him more. Meanwhile i'm rolling singles to see if i can get anything useable.

As someone whos had herc sense I started I cant count how many times hes saved me and given me a huge W in a tight spot hes always in my party at the very end in case of emergency definitely roll for him
I'm just back here since I recently heard that he got a buff and that his attack now scales with how many times he had died. I'm excited for that buff to come to NA someday.

same here i got his bond CE about a week ago ( well i started this account at Nero Bride even tho ) and he has 2 grails just to be sure.
Huh, still kinda confused as to why his NP is called Nine lives when it has nothing to do with his HP or survivability.
I think its called nine lives cause its the technique he used to kill the hydra, think its originally called nine lives:shooting hundred heads.
That's the name of his weapon I think. This is gonna be spoilers for the Heaven's Feel anime so click read if you don't care.
Emiya Shirou in Heaven's Feel uses Herc's weapon and he says Nine Lives Blade Works whenever he manifests/uses it.
It was used to destroy the 9 main heads of the hydra
@@redroman4214 you're wrong and allow me to elaborate why: His weapon is just an axe sword that the einzbern made to summon a berserker, it's nothing special. Nine lives is a technique he make that can transfer into ANY weapon he uses since he masters every weapon ever and thus "nine lives blade work" is just that technique, shirou just added "blade works" since he trace the techniques history and origin , the reason why berserker Heracles can't use it (fgo aside) is because he lacks motor skill to pull off a technique that strike at godspeed
Also fun fact: nine lives will bring the potential of any weapon Heracles uses to its maximum potential, it can be a sword, a shield, a spear, a bow, an axe, a hammer, a fucking boulder, literally ANYTHING and he can use the technique if he wants
Extra fun fact: the Techniques name can be changed, if he's doing it with projectile then Nine lives: shooting the hundred heads. If it's physically then it's Nine lives: slaying the hundred heads. It explains why shirou changes the name
Listen, is you get Herc at least just put him in the back of every one of your parties. With his bond craft essence he arguably becomes the best servant in both NA and JP. For late game bosses a full bond level Herc is almost required.

Seriously, when you realize that Herc can solo Goethia, you have to wonder why he's only a 4 stars.
Also, I REALLY want to see him as an archer!
If 4* Herc is this broken, 5* Archer Herc would probably just redefine the entire meta of the game lol

I wouldn't say he's the best Berserker. But he is comparable to the top tier 5 star Berserkers when grailed to even 90 and that's a pretty big deal for a 4 star.
got Herc on the tutorial roll. He has since been one of my go too servants along with cu and artoria archer
i got him when i was still in Singularity F and i have never moved him out of my party since i started playing a little over a month ago, with my main strat in game being summed up as "GET'EM HERC"
Herc was my very frist gold berserker in FGO, now he's at max ascension and on bond level 8.
Not only is he my MVP berserker but he has carried me through Camelot all the way to Agartha so I'm glad i got spooked by him lol!

Sweet I’m glad to hear this! He was my first character I got and I love him especially after watching the series. He’s pretty good and even though I’m still learning you mentioned something another person told me. That he’s good being in the back as a last Hail Mary later on. I can’t wait till I can ascend him and I’m so close. He’ll be my first ascension servant and now that I got Illya I feel all cozy that they’re together :)
Recently rolled a LZO, extremely tempted to leave him with Verdant Sound of Destruction anyways because that's just too appropriate. And pardon the unoriginal comment but I'm not seeing it here yet and it needs to be said; Basaka wa dare ni mo makenai, SEKAI DE ICHIBAN TSUYOI DAKARA!
I was almost considering not going for Herc as my free 4* since I got Tamamo Cat before him, but goddamn am I glad I still picked him.

His Bond CE is OP AF, There is a video on youtube of Herc SOLOING the final boss of FGO. If that's not OP then I dont know what is.
Many servants can actually solo Goetia, not just herc.
Its funny, this video is now three years old but is still pretty much true. Even after three years, the only berserker to supplant Herc Berserk is Cu Chulainn and even then its a close fight, just because of Herc's absurd survivability.
Herc is insanely useful! He has clutched out so many big bosses for me. Especially in Camelot and Babylon on JP.
Of all 4 star servants to use grails on, he might be the most worth it. Nero and the Alters as runner-ups.
I am F2p player but I got him with NP5 also with CE bond. He is literally can solo anything until now except tituria with 3,3 mil hp. For me, he belong to SSR class and he will get really high rank in SSR tier list

Anyone here from the recent jp 5 anniversary, cause his upgrade is huge. I feel that we should revise his ranking. Berserker the strongest!
I've been keeping Bersercules in all my parties to grind his bond level, only at 6.5 though. I usually boost his buster damage, but at times I use the Nightless Rose CE as a discount version of his bond CE.
In general I find berserker class characters to be a lot of fun to play (this may be due to my only ever pulling berserkers), but if your luck fails you, they can die very fast. It's good to have anyone who can boost their defense, even if it's just mash.
For grinding the low level dailies, I just run my full trio of 4 star berserkers, and buster chain my way through. For high level dailies, I'll use either herc or lancelot (depending on what quest) with a support Waver.

Thanks! And it does come down to luck a lot of the time, especially since if you are super unlucky and get crit you usually die in 1-2 hits.
I was super lucky and I got him in the free 10x drop they give you at the beginning of the game. I always have him in my party, even if I'm just farming weak fights, especially when I found out what his bond essence does.
Herc was my first 4 star. I still use him as my main in my party. I think he’s better then almost all the 5 stars I have, which is saying something. He’s a badass.
I love my herc. He has saved me on so many occasions and carried me during the recent nerofest. Plus I think he likes me aswell because he kept coming back till he was NP 5. You know I grailed him to 100 first chance I got.

I just love these videos, they help a lot and are fun to watch, Can you do a video about Lanceot next? cuz I really see potential in him in a crit team especially with the current servants like Mozart

Though personally I only use him for stages where it's only one boss, and even then I move all Berserkers to the back just before Cu for clutch factor.
I think it'd be pretty cool if Herc gets a strengthening quest that gives him additional 30-50 or 20-30% mana burst on his first skill and name it "The 12 labors" or "Gift of the God's"
Yesterday, I rolled on a Raikou rate up. A berserker card appeared and turned gold. I was already happy-dancing only to see that I've been spooked by Herc. I ain't even mad lol

I came here to learn more about Heracles since mine dies in some scenarios and oh boy I think I just inflicted a Mad Enhancement EX on myself after how much bullshit Heracles can deal with in F/GO compared to the F/SN routes anime.

Just got back to FGO since i only played the JP version before. After a few rerolls at the start, kept 2 Hercs and some other random CE's. Never regretted the decision to stop rerolling then.
I just got him along with three other 4 star berserkers in one draw today! So I have quite the decision to make with my main berserker.
I have Hercules but i can't make him powerful because of accession materials bs all I need is some Octuplet crystals but the game wont let me get more faster -_-
Chiron dialogue if you have Herc just cemented it for me. He is resisting his madness enhancement an is very intelligent even in his current state.
IDK why but whenever I play FGO I just pull out this specific servant spotlight and I just have it play in the background
I think you can condense a fair amount of your introduction with a simple, "Welcome to Fate Grand Order Servant Spotlight - you're one stop shop for servant info, analysis, and team comp." Or something similar.
Edit: In a similar vain, I think you can condense the servant skill information by reducing, "[x] skill increases [blank] by [y] to [z]" into, "[x] skill increases [blank] up to [z]". Numbers and percentages are very easy to digest visually, but they are mouthfuls to say, especially percentages, as that word alone is a three syllable word. These mouthfuls slow down your ability to audibly present information to a considerable degree, especially since it only takes a glance for the viewer to understand what you're going to take over a second to say.
Also, great use of character visuals in the servant info segment!
I do have a slight problem with releasing two servant spotlights on the same day, and especially at relatively the same time. That makes what should be a delightful treat into a handful. There's a lot of science put into discovering the perfect ratio of content release to viewer engagement, but, long story short, spread things out.
I just completed getting cu alters bond CE, and I have had herc ever since I had cu alter. now I have a reason to actually use him. plus, that bond CE looks nifty.
I got his max bond essence last month and I can't wait to use it on him ^^
Heracles’ nine lives is basically when you find your hidden cheese strings at 3 am
I found him to be op as hell with Banana and Cú Alter.
So, I was trying to roll Kiara, and this guy showed up along with the Kaleidoscope Craft essence. No lewd nun, but I saw that roll as an absolute win as I've wanted Herc for the longest time. The occasions where I selected him from my support list let me know that he was a Berserker worth investing in.

Herakles was always a badass, in lore and gameplay wise, he is awesome(for fucks sake! The guy was an inch from killing Gilgamesh!)
I love running Herc as my support. I usually run him with Lancer Cu and Mashu. I use Cu's Guts and Evasion so he can just survive and act as a target, while Mashu protects Herc when Herc's evasion is down.
So I keep Herc surviving thanks to Mashu and Cu, while I dish out loads of damage with him.

A fully grailed Herc is actually stronger than most of the 5* servants stat-wise even when they're grailed. In the JP version.

Herc was my gold servant for the mandatory fuyuki tutorial roll
I got him a day after I got Emiya which kinda sucks cause I spent ALL my materials on Emiya, so in a way, I'm lucky cause I got the two of the STRONGEST 4 stars in the game but I'm also unlucky because I lack the materials necessary to power them up.

stop putting 2 class into comparison, especially 2 servant meant for different roles. lancer cu is for stalling, and cu alter is for sustain damaging while also staying alive.

Sober Onii you told me to upgrade Herc over Nero and I have not regretted it. He is sitting at 70 right now and he just ruins lives. And now that I have leveled Hans he is never going to die either. You said before that early on we are going to walk through the early game but Herc is just on another level. Herc is my second favorite servant right now behind Iskander. Now I just need to wait for his banner to come around...

G&A Reviews One of the peeps in my Support list Grailed her to Level 92. But she feels as effective as a Level 80 Artoria (tho she can self-heal--and is a lot cuter)
Personally tho, I feel the best version of Saber in that class is Saber Alter, especially when Grailed (just like in canon)
More reason to cover her, so we can actually make best out of her weakness.

G&A Reviews, I'd love to hear a guide for Medea, Hans, and Kojiro! Hans, because I hear people sing praises for him all the time, and it'd be great to get the specifics for why and optimal ways to play him. Medea, because I've heard mixed things (some say she's excellent as a support or Noble Phantasm bomber, others say she sucks; be great to hear your thoughts?). And Kojiro, because people keep praising him as the "Savior of France," and making memes for him XD
For a berserker, herc got quite decent np gain and star gain, my strategy usually let lancelot kill a wave with his np and give the stars to herc while doing his np

would love to see a video on berserker lancelot, i really like him ,but cant figure out a way to use him correctly, been trying to use him on my quick team but he go down way too fast to be any real use, which is a dissapointment

Why is Kojiro Kurasaki (assassin) a 1* in this game? I kinda figured he'd be a 2 or 3 star. Also I do kinda wanna see your take on him in a spotlight at some point. You make sound points and I am enjoying your content.
Rarity doesn't always correlate to gameplay value, he would have been very strong as a 3* actually and he is one of the better assassins even with that rarity. I might make a second video exploring the 3* and lower servants I overlooked in my F2P guide
Yeah, I am very well aware of that fact. After seeing Kojiro solo that boss who had 1.5 million health I am convinced any servant can be good with the right set up or just enough care to actually max them out. I am just wondering why they made him a 1* because isn't he kinda popular? Figured he'd be given the Cu Culain treatment (which from the looks of it he's basically the 1* Cu Culain) XD At least he's pretty awesome from what I've seen.

I personally use Verdant sound of Destruction on my Herc. I mean, it'd be pretty awesome to do a Noble Phantasm in one go by using Kaleidoscope, but a good Buster increase card can be really good. Not to mention Verdant sound of destruction is a 4 star Craft essence, and if your lucky enough, it's actually a bit easier to get this CE 4 times than getting a 2nd or 3rd Kaleidoscope, so it's easy enough to dish out a constant additional 20% effective Buster card. I only have Herc at level 70 atm, and he dishes out around 100k with a Buster chain by simply activating Valor, since he took out a level 70 Servant in the Nero fest in one turn (clutch save, I've had herc since my first roll in FGO, and has been my main ever since. Sekai de Ichiban tsuyoi dakara). Though I do plan on putting Castle of Snow on him once at bond level 10, but I'd say that Verdant sound of destruction is a very good CE to have on him as well if you don't really plan on having him spam NP's right on the first turn like when using Kaleidoscope, so it's also a really good CE on him if the battle is a really long one

Herc is a great option to grail, I'd recommend getting him to 90. Personally I recommend just grailing your favorites. But from a gamplay perspective the servants that benefit the most from grailing are Rulers, Berserkers, Lancers, and Avengers
G&A Reviews The only 5* I have that is part of the listed Classes is Vlad. I don't think he'a a good choice to grail.
My most favorite 5* Servant (and also the strongest one I have) is Jack The Ripper. Is she worth grailing? I was told by multiple people that she's already good enough without being grailed.
Its mind blowing to me that this is him at his weakest. If he gets summoned on ANY other class he is gonna be even more OP. I will never mind getting spooked by him. He carried my account when I stopped playing for almost a year. He seems to be resisting his Madness Enhancement at times throughout Fate. Giving him valentines chocolate was so worth it. I threw my thumbs up like a little child.

What command codes should i put on him? Im on the fifth singularity right now. What should i aim for.
Pretty sure all the command codes i have atm are bad haha.
@@Blue-bi3pz Have 1 code that removes debuffs. You will need it on Lostbelt 3 for a stupid fight. Other than that, I would say you should use codes that give crit stars or increase damage vs servants

That defiantly works if you don't have Limited Zero or want to conserve cost points for your party
