Warning, watch out for YELLOW Gaster, if you see him you’ll want to destroy your computer as fast as possible before he blast you with the YELLOW blaster. Trust me on this.
Dude, spoilers.
Dude, that’s like the most emotional part of the game, why’re you leaking stuff like that?
Stop spoiling it
When that happened, I sobbed myself to sleep every night for a week. Why would you spoil something _that_ important?
I'm so glad YELLOW Sans warns you about this in the Bomgo area of the game
Casey is right. Functionally immortal means you can't die of old age, but can die from other sources
Chujin makes me recall the phrase: " The road to hell is paved with good intentions"
He wanted to help the underground so much, but was very fearful of humanity. Thus his efforts took a less noble direction in preparation for the possibility of a second war after the barrier is broken.
Also: Check behind the house if you read this before recording the finale.
Specifically, check behind what is found there.
Qotd: as alpharad said "girl failure"
31:47 They're Immortal (cannot die from old age) not Invincible (cannot die)
I dunno if you'll see this comment before you record the next part, but i recommend going up and left from the outside of Ceroba's house. When there, look behind the object in the center of that area. I won't say anything more

You are entirely right, that is why asgore and toriel are immortal (functionally). Rudy (Noelle’s dad) is actually canon to undertale, and asgore actually states that “he was my friend until he started looking older than me” or something along those lines. Basically, asgore outlived Rudy (Noelle and dess are still canonically alive in undertale though just not present in the game.)
I really like the parallels to Undertale with the labs. First you find Chujin's lab and then you find his "True Lab". Even the color scheme matches.
0:14 honestly, this is one of my few gripes of the fangame.
It seems that the moment Ceroba shows up, the story just shifts course and revolves around her a bit more than I would've liked to see.
I find that works in the game’s favor. Hot take, but Undertale’s story was never really that great in my opinion. The characters are beyond lovable, but they’re far less involved with any actual plot, and in the end, the story relies on 4th wall breaks just to find any resolve.
The True Lab was one of my favorite areas because it was the only part of the story that felt tied to the characters and it actually resolves something more than Frisk’s escape. Most other dialog that digs deeper into these characters, while interesting to see, don’t change the situation much.
For Undertale Yellow, getting to see the characters do so much more than being the boss of the area… I think that’s a lot better. Motivations feel natural, there’s plenty of time for the characters to develop, and I just love getting to see more of them!
… that, and the alternate routes in this game are quite interesting. There’s more I could say, but that’d be spoilers for the let’s play
Omg we're coming up way quicker on the end than I thought...

One of the most interesting parts of Clover to me (and a part of what makes them my favorite character) is that unlike Frisk, we actually do get a few crumbs of what their life of the surface was like. Like right here, the use of "everyone" is probably meant to imply that Clover actually has siblings.
There's more, but I cant talk about that yet.
Wasn't expecting for the plot to go so deep into boss monsters souls lore, this is getting real interesting🧈
Why the butter lol? 🍿
@@RobsTheMemer why not 🪱
💧 i cried on the butter
25:21 It is, indeed, a blue question mark.
before you guys leave completely ceroba's house please go back and go left and up the path that leads there, remember to check every corner and inch of whatever's gonna be there, behind it to be more specific
i love when blg develops Jaundice via funny character voices
32:00 Casey's right, Ian, you gotta re-read Gerson's pacifist backtrack dialogue. In fact, they're not even immortal before they have kids. It's a "There must always be a boss monster" situation. They age normally, unless their kids die, in which case they stay immortal, but not invincible. They just don't age.
According to Gerson, Boss monsters specifically age “as the SOUL power of the parents flows into the child”.
So Asgore and Toriel would have also been immortal in the time period before they had Asriel but after their parents died. Because there’s no transfer of SOUL power during that time.
I honestly think Kanako's name is emphasized on the first syllable, like this:
KON-uh-KO
Also in case you are wondering (that is a blue ? Mark) u will see why later….
Also: u should go back to the smashed open door in the steamworks (axis’s charging station) for some funny dialogue.
So just so you know there's actually a Flawed Pacifist route with a completely different ending, and you don't even have to backtrack at all! No spoilers don't worry, all you need to know is the final boss will present you with a choice at the very end, one leads to Pacifist and the other leads to Flawed Pacifist.
Don't you have to do the full pacifist run again tho?
@@GEGGARCHY I assumed you could just restart where you left off, but if you can't then yeah
Btw, you can take infinite "Corn chowder" from Ceroba's fridge, Remember to fill your WHOLE dimension bag!
This was patched
@@memeticproperties4517 Oh...
Now there’s only one. It is Forlorn Chowder.
…
…
Dalv’s favorite!
QOTD: I think “bird brain” suffices ^^
26:49 You're the first people I've seen play this game that have actually noticed the fold in the rug, good eye
NON SPOILER COMMENT: check the path going behind the house and once ur in that “area” try interacting with the back of the “thing”
Trying not to give any suspicions :)
It's been fun watching you two do a playthrough of undertale yellow, it's always been my favorite fan game to watch other people play, i hope you guys are enjoying it as much as i enjoy watching you play it, oh and may i ask, do you plan to do neutral and genocide route? it's fine if you don't want to, i understand, but it would be fun to watch, anyway have a wonderful day you two, and i wish you luck for whatever challenges await on your journey.
also this was the playthrough that introduced me to your channel and I've also been enjoying your other playthroughs, like Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Pizza Tower, etc. :)
Happy belated birthday, Ian! Also I always imagine Ceroba's voice like her "voice" in game--tired and subdued for the most part. But, Casey's "Costanza's Mom" accent is good, too.
Try to travel via mail whale back to snowdin next time - some familiar faces wait for you there.
BLGQotD: I don't think I can do any better than Birdo
"Well technically the baby's more powerful than all of them combined" lol true tho
There is a secret in the house area if ya'll are interested. Even if you don't get it now I would definitely suggest seeking it out if you do a neutral run (which I also suggest you see the end of)
Also did you notice the pictures in Kanako's room? Pretty interesting stuff.
you guys should deffo check to the left of the house next episode. theres also a secret thing there that gives more context and info about that map in chujins office
The story it's getting more and more interesting. I cant wait for the next chapter 👀✨
QotD: from what ive heard, the term "herbo" has been generally accepted as the female equivalent to himbo
It’s about to get mysterious up in here.
21:00 WAIT IS THAT DALV ON THE DRAWING?
Ah yes, it's all coming together now... O_O
Dalv was the monster attacked by the human, and that's why he reacted badly to seeing you at the start.
@@kantpredict 🤫
not sure if you'll see this in time, but you should check behind ceroba's house, and if you do, you should be thorough
BLGAotD: Himbo & Herbie
Any episode with bird mom in it is a good episode
This really went from "silly cowboy game" to "oh shit" real fast
Qotd: not quite the same naming convention as himbo or god forbid BIRDO (a great one nonetheless) , but the general consensus for Martlet is "girlfailure"
Remember to expor around the outside of the house hint: there’s a secret behind
i recall something about women wanting to reclaim bimbo to mean something positive and caring, and thats where the term himbo started getting use? could be making that last part up, but im fairly certain there was an attempt to redefine bimbo as something that wasnt sleazy
Undertale yellow pilled
6:59 The origin of the word himbo comes from "him" + "bimbo", so what about " herba" as a female himbo ?
(her + bimbo but with an "a" to make it more feminine)
7:00 birdly
Oh this is getting so GOOD.
And yeah, what the others said. Behind the house & the thing
Immortal is not the same as invincible.
How about just BIRB?
I think the term is Herbo?
I've heard this before, and the male bimbo equivalent is a himbim
BLGQOTD: Scorpia.
Me:*watching this literally no knowledge on undertale* mhhm mhm yes boss monster soul mhm mhm *definitely knows what that means*
Oh no, ceroba sad time
It's time....... Now the only thing left is....... Nothing but the truth.....
Female himbo? How about Shimbo?
RIP Tunic? 😭
oh my god 10:30 you opened the menu at 555:55 exactly how
i am not a smart man…
Shimbo?
Shimbo
Gray Matter
Fembo
you've got to play Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
First
BLGQOTD: It is indisputably fem-bo.
5 minute gang
Also, the word bimbo was made up to use as a negative/derogatory term for women and some women have been reclaiming it and using it to mean something very similar to what you described.
