Richmond is London - The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. It looks like you didnt see the different areas of the Park, just stayed on the West end of it? You should definitely go back in the summer it is so much prettier and also check out the awesome pubs and restaurants!
@@thefowlyetti2 yep you are sort of right, was quite interesting reading up on shell , as its biggest shareholder is Blackrock a hedgefund company out of the States with a 7.7% stake....quite interesting seeing so many companies own around half a percent in shares ...I know it did move to London to simplify its share offers, plus Shell hadn't paid Tax in this country up to 2017, due to very little investment in the UK, however they will be now paying some tax due to increasing investment in the UK , however its what you'd call a multinational company that has significant investment in the US , so sometimes you ask who does own these companies in a globalised world, much like a ship owned by an Egyptian let's say, but registered in London, so is able to fly the British Merchant Navy flag, but we don't own the ship the Egyptians do, or do they, if the major share holders are Saudis and get most of the profits divvyed up to them...funny old world we live in, probably need to ask a Tory MP for a better explanation as there the ones lining their pockets...lol
@@kennethcarter3494 yep, interesting reading about the history and their global influence around the world...although not that funny my gas and electricity bills have trebled, whilst continental Europe have gone up by 20% max in some countries, but mainly only around 10% and capped at 4%
Richmond Park's a lovely place to spend an afternoon (or longer - given the size of the park you can easily spend a whole day there). I generally found the deer to be more towards the eastern side of the park when I visited, but you can see them pretty much anywhere - just have to go searching. Richmond itself is really nice too - used to walk along the Thames from Kingston to Richmond periodically (incidentally I do recommend walking part of the Thames Path if you fancy spending a day doing a walk - plenty of options for breaking it up within Greater London, but basically all of it up to around Oxford can be done on public transport with a little planning)
Richmond is technically still London, it’s not exactly countryside but is one of the outer suburbs. I used to live there and it’s a long trek on the District line but only 16 minutes by train from Waterloo, but I’m guessing there was a train strike that day? I could hear the parakeets in the background, there are thousands of them in Richmond 😊
My favourite place in London is Richmond, I used to live in Twickenham , love this part of London, especially in the pubs on the Thames...the American college is on Richmond Hill with super views
Hahahahaha omg listening to you describe Croquet but saying Cricket had me rolling because they are totally different sports 😂 but this looked like such a beautiful weekend and I am so glad you have those film photos 😍 they will be so special to look back on when you are older
You’re very very pretty and your content is good, I did not know you could still get photos DEVELOPED like that, what was that like!? Have you settled in to London life, what are the differences you’ve noticed between UK and USA
Hi Izzy I was wondering if you had checked out Hannah Ricketts channel. A recent Vlog is around St John’s Wood and there’s even an American food store near there. Also, Emily Meadows, she did her student abroad in Florence, and has completed her Masters in London, and is searching for a job. She can inform you how hard it is to get the flat and a 😢 job
Hi Izzy, I noticed you were wearing your grandmother's hat. Did she wear it as a young woman as well, or was it a more recent addition to her wardrobe?

Shell is a British company which happens to be big in the USA. Its global HQ is by the London Eye!
It's Anglo Dutch , but their HO is in London as its cheaper than Amsterdam regarding taxes , but yes its British and Dutch as well 👍
@@glastonbury4304 It used to be Anglo Dutch, but since a couple years back it has no association with the Netherlands

Royal Dutch (Netherlands) and Shell (UK) merged in 1907 to form Royal Dutch Shell.

Sunny week in London - enjoy it as it does not happen often in the winter!
You are always on an adventure. Brilliant.👏👏

Thank you Izzy for another really lovely and very busy vlog. I doubt I could even fit in half what you do in a day.
I love Thursdays thanks to you !!
Nice one Izzy i love printed photos if stored correctly will last a life time ! 😁.
Mint Juleps is for the Kentucky Derby I think. For cricket either Pimms, or a good Gin & Tonic
In the summer you should take a trip to knole park.

Loved the video! What film camera do you use and where did you get it? I've been wanting to get one for a while
I have the Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 35mm Point Shoot and I got it off eBay 🤍 I really like this film camera as my first!
I think she means Croquet lol
Hi. Was it Croquet you were talking about?
I think so!
Hi Izzy, I noticed you were wearing your grandmother's hat. Did she wear it as a young woman as well, or was it a more recent addition to her wardrobe?
I am not quite sure actually but I think she has had it in her wardrobe for quite some time 🥹🤍
Which camera do you use for these cool pictures?
