Old lady here. Until Trump came into office, I voted by carefully evaluating the issues and the candidates, because everyone involved just had different opinions on how best to run our beautiful democracy. I usually ended up on the Democratic side of things, but sometimes voted Republican or Independent. Now I go down the ballot and vote only for Democratic supported bills and vote, not only for Democratic candidates, but for the Democratic incumbents, because they have the better chance of winning. I HATE having to vote this way, but I hate the alternative much more

It’s really important to clarify that when they reference pornography, they aren’t just talking about the bog standard media normal people think of when we hear that word. It’s much more insidious: they intend to classify the very existence of some groups of people, and what should be entirely normal actions, as “pornographic” and make those people and/or actions illegal and subject to harsh penalties. In particular, they are targeting queer and trans people and quite literally making their existence illegal. (Though make no mistake, they won’t stop there, especially as they go further into theocratic fascism. There are clear indications that the designation will eventually include such things as birth control, abortion, feminism, gender nonconforming dress or appearance, etc.) Anyone still minimizing the reality of this plan really needs to brush up on their history, because *this has happened before*-and people clinging to the same kind of disbelief have paid unthinkably high prices for that reticence.

Why are none of the people who are calling for Biden to step down not also calling for Trump to step down? Clearly Biden is the better of the two candidates yet everyone’s asking the better candidate to step down? What the hell is wrong with people in the USA?
They’ve been trying to get Trump to drop out for 10 years.
Blame the mainstream media. CNN has been blasting Biden since the debate and the NYT isn't much better. The Grey Lady has been calling for Biden to step down, largely because Biden won't grant them an interview. I am hopeful though, that we can resolve this and come together. Things often get worse before they get better.
I ask myself the same thing every day!
Because everybody consciously or subconsciously knows Trump will never step down for any reason, especially because he knows it's the only way to avoid prison. It would be easier to make an elephant jump than make Trump step down.
after the debate, we aren't confident in Biden. What if he dies 1 month before the election? Harris will also lose. I have nothing against either, I hate Trump but I see the value in Biden/Harris immediately stepping down so we can have an actual primary so the democrats can decide who they stand behind, and the DNC MUST stand behind who we vote for in the primary. They cannot do what they did in 2016 with Bernie/Clinton, and Biden/Harris can't do what RGB did in SCOTUS. Democrats in charge don't understand the urgency at hand.
If the Democrats ran a dead guinea pig against Pumpkin Putin, I would vote for it. In fact, it's kinda gotten to the point where I don't *CARE* about a candidate's qualifications or personality or scandals, former or current. If they've got a (D) after their name and they're not currently under felony charges (**cough** NewJersey **cough** ), I'll vote for 'em.

There is a reason for what Trump is saying. Just not sure what it is. Kind of like his rants about toilets not flushing. Everyone was like WTH is he talking about? Then we learn he kept trying to flush official documents and that's the reason for his toilet rants.

Not a correction, just wanted to point out that dung beetles don’t only eat poop. They push the giant ball of poop they make several miles and use it to attract a mate. They even use the stars to navigate at night while traveling with their giant sexy poop ball! And guess what else! It takes a lot of strength to push that fecal aphrodisiac around, which is why dung beetles are the strongest animal on Earth relative to their size.
So not a correction, just giving a well deserved shoutout to dung beetles.

I was going to suggest the lady who had just finished cancer treatment. Her flight to Florida was delayed so many times she gave up, headed home. Bought lottery ticket on the way home, hit the jackpot!
