I believe one thing that it is better to keep your goals secret so that you won't be teased by others for not achieving it but at the same time I feel you will be less guilty of not achieving your goals & becz of this you won't realise the intensity or the mistakes which became the reason for your failure & move on easily. where as if you have kept your goals in public and everyone knows about it then you will have an extra level of burden or a pressure over you and that will be an extra added level of responsibility for you and this will actually help you to perform better in exam with a fear of losing. So I believe that keeping your goals as a secret is like hiding inside your room with bike in hand & dreaming of driving it. If you're confident & fully dedicated towards your goals then you should never be afraid of acknowledging it even in public which inturn makes you more pressurised to perform much better in exams
