So much same between Konyak Naga of Nagaland and Wancho Naga of Arunachal Pradesh. Konyak and Wancho are One. Let's keep this our tradition and culture alive. May God bless us all.
This is what we call it, KHAM! The sound of the Kham is loud and harsh. The notes or rhythm of these instruments raise the feeling of anger, fear and festal. This sound encourage man to take up arms to fight or wage war against their enemy. The repeated sound produced through the beating of 'Kham' attract attention of people. This boosts up people to face the attack of their enemies in defence and also to make attack on their enemies. The sound push the attender to make use and sharpen their weapons fast. It "Excites to arms and clangor on the Victory"! One cannot skip! Maile² 👍
