Theres a Scottish pro enduro rider called Lewis Buchannan (has a YT channel) and he used to ride for Forbidden. Hes got loads of videos showing how capable the bike is. PS: Love the retro paintjob on that yeti!
i have the Druid, Dreds little bro. i switched to a 32t as well. climbs fine. maybe 10-15% decrease in efficiency due to the idler. but damn, the bike feels great on chunky descents. the way the rear "stretches" on compression to keep things stable is something to experience.
Yeah it smoothes chunk out really good especially if you go full smash and don't touch the breaks. Breaking is kinda weird when the rear goes back, I need to get used to it but so far I'm loving it
if you put on a smaller chainring and added links but your chain is now jumping around, my guess is your chain is too long, take out some lengths and see if the jumping stops.
It's not too long. The chain dropped at San Clemente before I put the smaller chain ring and added links. Forbidden suggest 30 links on size Med. I had 26 and now it's 29.
@@TommyHuynh Did you put on the correct chain ring offset for the bike? If you put the wrong one on it will affect the chainline and that may cause ghost shifting if it's incorrect. Nice vid as usual- Love all your stuff. Bling bike too.
No that's not it. The chain dropped at San Clemente before I put on the smaller chain ring. The rear extends and has a lot of movement I just need to adjust the chain guide
local norcal ripper mentions chain skipping on dreadnought here: ua-cam.com/video/3c7uVK4ciE8/v-deo.html along with a lot of other helpful info on the bike
I believed that with a couple of changes you will be faster and better than yeti.. I think the changer should be Shimano, not TRP, I think with two more weeks you will be better
Yeah we will see, I don't know if the issue is the TRP derailleur the rear stretches so there's a lot of movement I will figure it out in a few more weeks
Found your channel randomly. I dig it. Subbed!
Thanks brotha 🙏 welcome 👊

🇬🇧Greer Ranch is the Dream! There is so many Great trails! Yeah E bike domain but also Manual heaven! Thanks Tommy💯 Awesome Viewing👍🤘😎🤘

Can't believe you were pushing a 34t. 32...for sure!
It's my bike and shuttle bike. I take the e bike on pedal days so I was going for more speed but 34t was too hard to pedal

Why do you never go up to the antenna and do 215 or monk dawg, because of the climb?
Yeah that climb isn't worth the downs for me 🤣
You ever think of trying one of the DH races at summit Tommy? I think you'd do really well!
I can't because I have to be at the restaurant on weekends and all races are Sat and Sunday

Another awesome video Tommy!
What camera are you using? GoPro or what? The video is so clear. 🤙
Yeah it's a GoPro Hero 10
Do you have your Dread with the Ziggy Link installed or full 29er?
Cheers
If its not on strava, did it really happen? haha still waiting to see the Dreddy on the OC Steeps. Hopefully soon!
As soon as the trails dry I'll be out there 💪💪💪
💯🔥
🤘🤘🤘
is it quiet tommy that bike? you said so but it sounds like somethings rattling like mad on the descents?
That's chain slap, when I got the bike painted they had to take off the chain guard so we put on a temporary guard but it's really noisy
@@TommyHuynh ah sweet man you need get that OG one back on would drive me insane riding with that, bike looks rad though
@didzy yes Forbidden will be sending me a new one. They asked for my address and I didn't see the email until yesterday
hooou shit ❤
Do you think you need another derailleur adjustment ?
Yeah I will continue to make adjustments each ride
@@TommyHuynh nice . You'll get her lined out .
maybe the chain is too long now since the ring is smaller

wth is that bike? Chainz everywhere....Cabron fibre?
Your brake levers will scratch the shit outta your goggles if you keep hangin em like that.
