Enjoyed this jugalbandi immensely...the general atmosphere of reverence and humility between Panditji and Ustadji is a spirit we need to preserve. Needless to say I learnt so much from the depth of exploration into gharana styles and kaidas. Also, Pinky ji's dugga sounds tremendous!

@@alekhyabhattacharya8798 He has a very different baaj, although from the same gharana. Sanju-ji is very fluent: a style reminiscent of Samta Prasad-ji and Pandit Anokhelal Mishra.

How do is that Tin bol played?! I can't figure out how they play it that way such that it rings like that! Can someone please help me?
really good tablas have that sound...and years of practice...just a touch will make the tabla ring
They aren't playing tin as the closing note in the tals where you see the pinky finger on the syahi. Complex bol mostly developed by benares players.

@@Shambodemambo you and me both my friend. My guru once told me, if it's not played right the syahi can slowly break off from the edges. It's a bol taught towards to final stages. I'm still on my way there I guess
