It is one of those games where Derke isn't performing well but Mistic's on point utility usage, Alfajer's lineups and cheeky plays, Boaster's 4k with an OP on attack, and of course Enzo'z cold in the zone form, more than make up for it.
There’s the possibility that as the fade haunt ticked and made the sound Enzo started to defuse which made melser not hear the defuse since he got caught, something similar to that one clip with the raze ult defuse another pro did on bind.
@Ohkal it's called being under pressure, if you knew that someone was low, he wouldn't peek you carelessly and you being under pressure would most likely not defuse and try to get that guy to peek, that was Melser's mental and Enzo took advantage of it :)
i love watching your watch parties. it gives me an even higher knowledge about valorant so thank you. i’m plat 3 but i literally just played against 3 acsendent players, 4 d3 players and the rest were d2 😭

1 ot isn't the same impact as three maps. If someone didn't do as well in map 1 or map 2, or map 3 (excluding OT) they may not have even made it there.
@@shallter455 because game doesn't take into account the usefulness of util. Mistic and Enzo (and other support/anchor) players don't get recognition they deserve because of that
I feel like I watched Boaster and Enzo's redemption arc. Boaster prepped as much as he could against PRX only to lose, and Enzo felt that he has something to prove after getting toyed with by f0rsaken and Mindfreak. After losing another crucial scenario against Leviatan, they both said, "I will not be embarassed again." It's beautiful, it's poetic, but holy hell did it give everyone a heart attack.
I *LOVE* how BrenShow casted the 2 games with the craziest rounds: "Kingg grab spike" and "Boaster go Op as Astra on offense during overtime and go kill" (and... Y'know... The entire rest of Bind lol)
This was the most technical game of Valorant I have ever seen. A really close game for either team and you had a sense that every piece of utility could be the game changer especially in the final overtime rounds. Well fought by both teams and a great win for FNC who were thoroughly challenged by both PRX and LEV.
This was my favorite game this year. Enzo sticks spike had me out of my chair for the rest of ot. Then boaster the smokes Gil 4ks with an op. Loved every bit of it.
@@germytv True but in the heat of the moment... Especially given the circumstances. It might not have been fully masked but enough that he didn't hear it. I've done stuff like that in a conp game never mind the pressure of match point in VCT.

I think fnatic is looking this shaky coz of the first blood failure rate, they aren't getting that first kill (playing against teams like prx and Lev who are in your face 5 sec into the round doessnt help )
It’s interesting how each region has its own style. NA is very methodical but also brawl heavy. Latam plays very fast paced and EMEA is the most utility based region.
they’re a very adaption heavy team, they adapt to enemy playstyle more than just getting into the face of them. Their coach mini, igl and the sub igl enzo play a great role on getting reads.
Enzo he went after Mindfreak because He got off the spike , Enzo thought mindfreak would tap the spike again to bait enzo out , and he can catch him off guard by pushing him, Thats a very good presumptive micro play, only the fact that mindfreak didn’t tap the spike he just went for the kill, that was twice he did that in that match .
The one thing that confuses me is the reverse side of your point about them thinking Enzo would push after the ping. If Enzo knows where Melser is, why does Melser sit and wait instead of trying to guess which side Enzo peeks from? Seems strange that he wouldn't try to make a play after being identified.
He’s just trying to milk time is what my silver rank tells me. He’s hoping to reposition after being tagged and he’s thinking maybe fade pushes him after gathering info but instead Enzo goes for the defuse and never lets off and by the time melzer realizes what Enzo is doing it’s defused. Personally I think the haunt prevented him from fully hearing the spike press but melzer said he heard it.
yeah he was burning time hoping enzo would either come running at him, in which case he wouldve ran the other way around wrapping the generator, or if enzo was shift walking towards him that would be very slow and burn enough time to secure the round for melser, but enzo was sticking it lol
Fnatic still has a weakness to aggressive plays. Showed that crack in armour with KRU when they had no real answer to the non standard "let us take aim battles" type of playstyle. I had though Alfajer would help provide the much needed firepower but...damn...still though. All my chips are on FNatic.
