General affordability is decent but the taxes in the more affluent suburbs like Dublin, Powell, New Albany, Upper Arlington, etc are high and painful. I have a place in north central Florida and a place in Dublin and my taxes/fees are way higher in in Ohio.
I’m not totally disagreeing, but I would say it’s relative. Because I moved here from Northern California and the taxes here are actually less and you get more. The city services, parks, libraries, it’s clean, no homeless encampments, etc. I’ve not once had to say wow you’re collecting a lot of taxes. Where is the money going?
