OOP about to watch. I saw this performed in high school and honestly… it was hilarious. High school production and everything. Works better as a play within a play rather than a play within a movie IMO because it further blurred the line for the audience between watching actors pretend to make buffoonish mistakes and actually make buffoonish mistakes. Especially since you of course aren’t initially aware of how much is the play within the play. But my little brother I think went through a phase of watching this movie all the time?! So hats off to them. Omg but have you seen Gotham? I like that the Alfred there was like “ok son you’re going to have to grow thicker skin than THAT in order to survive.” And it makes sense Batman turns out that way lol. Alfred isn’t even wrong either with Bruce trying to survive all these maniacs as a kid. Wait they really did to an edgy Alfred origin story called Pennyworth right? Lmao. He’s a spy. 😂 Edit: Just watched, glad you enjoyed it! So funny that Jesus came through because you told him about beating a child with a child swing.
A play within a play
This is a pretty good underrated comedy.
It was hilarious
We did this in college. My favorite show was the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. I played Panacea.
Movie was great
