Apologies for the loud background music.. it was my 2nd ever video on UA-cam.
Man thats not a big deal
Can you get in to more detail about sourcing the cars/stock? Cars from auctions come in with big faults and eat into the profits. Recently repaired and sold an audi, a month and a half later the oil leaked in to the engine and now the customer wants a refund. And then there’s the recession, hardly staying afloat here. Don’t know how traders are making it work with the 6 month warranty (consumers act). Alot of cars come back during the 6 months and ofcourse mess up the profit you made in the first place. Any advice you can give will be appreciated.
You’re a g
@@jojo92692 people tend to give people 6 months warranty because.. you’ve asked for the same price as everyone else. Try lowering the price and only giving a couple weeks warranty. Anything can happen with a car at anytime.
Congratulations it’s still good at such an early stage, I got what I needed, liked and subbed 👍🏾👌🏾
I come to comment to say the music was loud then saw your apology comment 😊
Thanks for info
😂😂😂
nice video bro. is there any particular reason for not covering the Trading lic and insurance ? i believe this should be the first step towards this business.
Nice! I really agree with what you say about honesty, makes everyone happy and the job easy right? Just imagine the stress when you know you’re taking advantage. Must be why politicians don’t last so long these days :)
Pls lower the volume of bgm

Video was good and insightful. Only annoying thing was the music which really did my head in.
where do you buy your cars in order to sell them?
Sold 2 cars my first month made £1300 happy days 😎😎😎😎
Which website do you recommend to buy from ?
@@uklondon4344Facebook marketplace?
Such an interesting trade to be in!
Hello am an electrician and work Monday to Friday, am interested in buying and selling cars in my spare time! What do I need to get in place? Things like Insurance? And what do I need to get an account at auction site so I can buy from them? Cheers in advance, great vids by the way 👍🏼
You will need trade insurance to get you set up with BCA. But you can just look for cars on local ads etc, and get temp insurance to drive the cars, but long term this would be an expensive option.
Hi
Really appreciate your videos, I'm doing this business for a while and my biggest problem always is where to get the stock(I mention that I'm buying from privte people, few trade's which I know and never tried from auction which looks quite complicated I think)so if you have any advice or any stock for sale please let me know
Thank you!
BCA has its risk but it’s a good platform for a large variety of cars. Buying from private people can take more time but it’s saves you money as you know exactly what you’re buying, at auction you don’t anymore with it being online only.
How are you getting on with it now? I'm looking to start buying and selling.
Buying from auctions is such a risk, you get badly broken down cars and after repairs you’re hardly left with any profit!
Hi
You didn't cover anything in relation to insurance and taxing the vehicles you're buying for profit? How does that all work?
Very informative
Insightful video looking to start buying and selling cars had a few questions to ask you if possible.
Turned it off after 5 secs background music NO NO NO
Thanks for this! Learnt a lot
I would like to take advantage of the video, but the thing is backgroud music ,pls reduce it
oil filter mot 100 pounds ... clutch 250? what cars are you buying and where is that garage?
I am thinking of working for myself and buying selling cars business and wondering if that is good idea of today
Sure is if you know what to look for and are good with negotiation
what do you know about the laws selling from owned or rented dwelling? strictly to a drive way, not a street.
Is buying and selling cars still profitable
Hi, great video. How do you deal with the V5C when buying cars specifically to sell if you are not a registered motor trader?
Thanks! Just fill out the yellow slip with your name and address.
@@BuySellCarsTV Thanks for replying. Do you use the green V5C/2 green ‘new keeper’ slip to tax the vehicle and do you take out an insurance policy on the vehicle until sold?
@@BuySellCarsTV so even if ur not a trader can u put ur details on the yellow bit
where do you sale them? and where u keep them ?
As a trader, there's no such option to select on gumtree or auto trader to newest or most recent listed?
Gumtree is in order, and autotrader has a most recently listed filter (sort by)
❤❤❤
Turn the music up bro. I can hardly hear it
🤣
Boom boom boom
when do back ground music have it as background not you in the background
Thanks
How do buy it without the no. Of owners going up
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Get to know your local immigrant community they can get cars cheap
Hi, when buying the vehicles, where do you cross reference the price you plan on selling it for?
Would you just check auto trader for lower price & higher price etc? & where do you sell your stock?
Thanks 🙏🏼
What i do is look for the sams car, with same mileage, same body type etc and see how much they are going for, then I'll have a base point of how much to list mine for. Keep in mind people will try knock off the price!
Hello everyone, I haven't been in the UK for a long time and I'm very interested in how you try to make money on resale, if you have car insurance payment, you put up with it, and everyone adds this amount to expenses or is it possible to bypass the resale insurance payment, if I'm young and it's expensive for me? Thank you, I will be glad for your answer!🤝🏼
Without getting insurance it will be very difficult, also risky!
Hey ! thanks for the videos you make, lots of useful information. My name is Yaroslav, I came from Ukraine, I moved my family because of the war. Once upon a time in my youth I was engaged in cars, bought and sold about 50. then I opened a travel business and stopped doing it. I now live in Edinburgh and am thinking about becoming a dealer. I would like to ask you what taxes will I have to pay if I buy a car and sell it at a profit? And do I need to take out insurance if I take the car for resale? thanks a lot in advance for your reply
Hello, I think you can buy and sell cars as much as you want as long as it’s technically your “personal” car so no capital gains tax unless you class yourself as a trade to which also answers your second point you can get trade plates (the red plates people put on their cars) which means you don’t pay any road tax don’t need an MOT as far as I believe and insurance is covered under your trade plates if you don’t have that then each car you buy and sell will need to have its own insurance, MOT & road tax, tax is non transferable so although you might pay a lump sum upfront for it your more then likely to have it pro Rata to the time you had the car only and the remainder refunded back to you. Hope I’ve been of some help & good luck
What about insurance?
the music is distracting and the volume too loud
When you are buying cars from gumtree the seller has likely looked to see what similar cars are selling for and price accordingly. So if 10 year old minis are selling for £4K let’s say, aye you haggling him down to £3500 then reselling for £4K? I can’t see how you can make a living not to mention webuyanycar and what they will be willing to offer. Am I missing something?
I’m genuinely interested in this vid, but the music is so loud tf
Was my 2nd video, sorry pal. New videos are fine 👍🏻
The background music is so loud
