Always love watching your reviews because as someone else who fingertip grips it's great to hear your opinion on mice with particular feedback for that style for me. I have the NP-01 wired and really enjoy using it for fingertip but do find it large in some instances of games and wonder if the NP-01s wireless would be a better fit, especially because I use fingertip. I was concerned about the grip width being quite thin compared to the larger NP-01, however, with my 19x10cm hands the MZ1 (relax fingertip) is one of my all time favourite mice so I think it would be fine right?
Hey Alex! Thanks for the feedback 😁 the grip width on the mz1 and np-01s is pretty similar at the end of the mouse. (within a mm of eachother), but the mz1 gets narrower in the middle whereas the np-01s gets wider. So you may be ok? It depends where you grip the mouse honestly
@@Log_Pile great thanks, I think I'll give the NP-01 a few more days and then make a decision. Keep up the great videos! (And also keep up the fingertip grip perspective on them as well haha)
@alex458italia I can't wait for the np01 wireless release this year/early next year! I will talk through the ftip experience, it is something I have moved away from slightly in my videos but I'll bring it back 😁
Man I love your jokes some much! Awesome video, as always, very detailed explanations and cool montage. I hope you reach your first 1000 subscribers soon 💪🤙
I like the np 01 s but it was just a bit too narrow and flat. So maybe the np01 will better for me. But I’ve recently got my hands on the hydrogen 2 from AtomPalm and the gpx2 and both have been great for my grip. Which is more relaxed claw/RJN style finger tip grip hybrid. Great video brother!
hey again dude - End Gear OP1WE didn't work out for me. I'm gonna give this one a try next, any ideas where I can get this 2nd hand? Do you know of a UK facebook group or anything like that? 150 euros + Tax + Shipping is on the high end for me. Cheers.
great review as always, was always oogling at the np-01s but since Im left handed I cant play it lol. You should rly try the viper v3 hyperspeed, underrated af
Thank you 💪 I've been watching them for a while too! Sucks to be a lefty right now! I saw your tweet on the Viper v3, I'm tenpted to try it now - take care bro
I might do, I only really want to cover what I'm genuinely interested in, and those mice dont tickle my fancy as much as some other stuff I've seen. So we'll see how it goes when the next batch are released!
They're very different shapes, so I guess it depends what kind of style you prefer. If you want a more neutral hand position and a higher/more forward hump maybe the EC2-CW would work well, if you want a mouse that can feel a bit more dynamic (lower profile) with a further back grip then the Vaxee might suit you more. The Vaxee isn't really intended for palm grip, I think I'm a bit of an anomaly there, but it feels VERY comfortable to me, and I haven't made my mind up if I prefer my EC1-CW or the NP-01S 🫣 that'll be a tough call I think! Do you use an EC2 at the moment? if so, how do you like it?
@@Log_Pile thanks for the in depth reply as always my man!! I am planning on ordering an ec2w for a personal bday 🎁 coming up haha. So many options though current use x2h mini
@@Log_Pile now use stock feet, that were inside the box? I looked for the ones you recommended, so do you mean the universal round feet? I have never used this type of feet, always opted for feet shaped for the type of mouse? do they support well and are they more stable than the latter?thank you for your reply and keep it up, you are an excellent reviewer and I hope you continue in this direction!
@ghingo36 Yes it was the universal round ones that I was referring to :) I know you can use the HSK Plus feet on the HSK Pro, and they'll offer a bit more feedback from the surface. Thats basically rhe difference (in my opinion) between dot skates and bigger skates, the dots offer less friction and the bigger skates offer more feedback. I used the stock skates on mine for a while so might not be urgent for you to switch them out? do theg feel bad to you? Thanks for the kind words 🙏
@@Log_Pile no actually I feel good, and if I'm not mistaken, being in PTFE, they go perfectly with the atlas. the question was to know if there was a better combination that could be done to make the most of the hsk pro 4k+atlas combo. I also tell you that I don't mind at all that additional feet that can be placed in the rear part of the mouse (the feet that can be placed under the battery, so to speak) which gives further stability in the horizontal control of the mouse by ensuring that the mouse does not "wag its tail". at the moment I have an Infinity Hybrid XL Odin V1 and I liked it, but I wanted to try a fast mousepad and this one, following your impeccable and detailed reviews, seems the most suitable for me.
Awesome work Log 🪵 It’s a great mouse but surprisingly I find it slightly too large for my hand size and grip style. But that’s a personal preference type thing! Love the Hot Wheels 🤣 Brings back such good memories
It doesn't feel too heavy to me though. I played with a G502 x recently, that thing felt sluggish and carried a lot of momentum. The NP01S feels really nice at 69 grams in my opinion.
Such a cozy video I really liked just listening to you for a while despite not really looking for a mouse at the moment. 4:04 was so good idk why
I appreciate that r4nowo 😁

Hi dude, I ordered an atlas and I have a hsk pro 4k. Which feet do you recommend I buy for that mousepad? Thanks :)
Hey Ghingo, exciting times for you! What were you using before? I reckon Xraypad obsidian dots are a good bet 👍 thats what I have on mine
