This video is great. It gave me all the basics and I was able to tweak as needed from there. There are 2 things I did differently: 1) Instead of using paper towel inserts, I used a pool noodle from either Dollar Tree or Dollar General (I forget). That way, I was able to cut them to the width I needed for the little storage box I used for the seat. 2) Since it was a storage box, I put small baby items in it, such as the other pairs of socks that came in the pack (that I used for the handlebars), pacifiers, baby-sized fingernail clippers, suction bulb, etc.
Love it! I added baby wrist rattles to the handle bars and used them to hold the stuffed animal's hands to the bars... So it looks like he's holding on driving! And we bought the tiny radio flyer wagon and filled it with gifts for the wheeler to pull the wagon instead... So cute.
I used your video six years ago and myself and my wife and my niece made a diaper cake for our great nephew. So fun going back and re-watching the video knowing that he’ll turn six in September. Highly recommend people wanting to make a diaper cake to watch this video
You did an awesome job making the diaper cake and I enjoyed watching the tutorial. But my heart was simply melted with the genuine love shown toward your son and your interaction with him. And it was so obvious it wasn't for the video by the way he responded to you. God bless you both !
I’ve made two of these for my daughters baby showers one was for a boy and the other for a girl. I had so much fun making them and they were a hit. I’m getting ready to make my third for yet another one of my grand babies baby shower. Your tutorial was great, thank you for sharing, loved it.
Oh my gosh! This was so much fun making. I used packing tape to keep my axels together and I had flannel fabric on hand instead of blankets so I used it. I also put a bike license plate on the back. Thank you for your great directions.
This is so creative and cute! One of the things that I love about this design is that you are creating the wheels by fanning the diapers. Another video I saw made a really good point that new moms probably don’t want to sit there and unroll all those diapers when they need them, so this is perfect!
I am expecting my first grandchild this year and this is AMAZING!! You did a great job explaining everything. I have been looking at diaper cake videos for a while trying to find the best one. This is by far the best one I've seen!!
You did a great job, very cute idea. Don't be so hard on yourself, how genuine you are is what makes it enjoyable and you are the first one I've seen talking to your little one. Hope to see more in the future.
This is so totally adorable, you did a wonderful job. I loved watching your tutorial your little one is so sweet, I think when I make mine I will put things inside the middle basket. The nappies/diapers have such a cute pattern on them Thank you so much for sharing.
Yours is my first diaper cake I watched being made. You cracked me up during your video. You were so real. Your screeching with delight, and your boo boos, made me feel like we were alike. So if you can do it so can I. ! I’m so glad I decided to go to you tube instead of Pinterest. I got no where on Pinterest, constantly taken to places that were not what I was looking for. And I loved the motorcycle, but I loved more was your added basket to pull more gifts in it. Thank you so much!!!
You are absolutely amazing! I seen this on Pinterest and went to UA-cam and found you and you are just amazing! Loved, loved how you were so down to earth! Yours is probably the most enjoyable, UA-cam how to video I have ever watched in my life you need to keep doing this, especially with the little one with you! I am making one of these and I could watch this all the time you were just so fun to listen to! Now my new great grandson is getting one of these. Thank you! Thank you for making my day! God bless you and your little one!❤❤
I have made a few diaper cake bikes and trikes and your 4 wheeler one is AWESOME! Going to make one like it now for a shower coming up in Sept. Thank you!
Loved your video and just made one myself for a friend’s shower. Loved also how your baby was right there interacting with you. You made it look easy! Thanks!
You did a great job!! This is the first time I have ever seen a 4-wheeler diaper cake. I have to say it is adorable!!! My oldest granddaughter is having her first. She's due to deliver baby Charlotte January 2nd. Just 5 days before my birthday. I wish I was able to attend her baby shower b/c I'd definitely make a pretty pink version of this. Sadly though she lives 12+ hours away so I cannot. Thank you for sharing & God bless!! 😊💖🙏
Awesome! Thank you for commenting! I LOVE the idea of using mason jar lids!! I'm on instagram @LeahsLife11 if you want to tag me in your finished diaper cake!! I would love to see how it turns out! 😍
Great job. I made two, one for boy and one for girl. I used a bundt pan instead of the spring pan you used. This helped keep the same hole size for the paper towel roll.
Oh I absolutely loved it! I’m going to a baby shower next week and I’m going to make the same exact on😏I don’t even know what the child’s name is going to be honestly but I’m getting the “B” because it’s gonna be the same exact design.😂😂😂😂
I absolutely loved this video. I loved how it was trail and error; you were figuring it out as you went. I loved that you didn't edit those parts out, it made your video more real/ relatable.
I thought this was gonna be difficult but you made it look very easy. I think im gonna try to male it for my friends shower that is scheduled for june. Great job, it looks amazing!!
It's so adorable!!! Very helpful, I've never done this but planning on doing it for my 1st grandson, and using a snoopy theme so this was perfect, thank you and you are cute in your explanation and accent 😘
You did amazing for you first try.i love it and it seems so easy .I am working on a jeep myself but after watching your video I wanna change my mind .lol
