Special Parliament Sitting

Preparations are underway here in Port Moresby for the Special Parliament Sitting for Late Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare on Thursday.
The Parliament Sitting held to allow members of parliament to farewell the founding father, with the Governor-General and Chief Justice in attendance.
Clerk of Parliament, Kala Aufa says with The Special Parliament Sitting will only allow invited guests and diplomatic corps and will be closed to the public due to limited sitting and COVID-19 precautions.

This is the country Somare wanted to see with its own academics, lawyers, doctors, accountants, judges policemen & women,,, he deserve that highest respect for the last time,, Sir Michael will always be remembered 💔😭😭😭
