Thank you for watching!
Seiko have announced a new size option for the solar divers: 41mm. So far a black dial / bezel (SNE597P1) & a Pepsi bezel will be available
It's great that you are providing an alternative to the dreaded pin and collar ☺
I guess I am the exception rather than the rule but I would prefer less of a taper. With an almost 43mm watch, it is at the upper end of what a 20mm works for, and when you taper that to 16mm the bracelet seems a little small for the watch in my opinion. Other than the taper, the bracelet looks great. I also have the Citizen Diver and wanted the bracelet for it but decided against it because of the same taper.
I have to say it is really comfortable. I got one.
I’ve had the 38mm SNE575 Solar for over a year now. Love the watch, but hate the bracelet that came with it. Replaced it with a rubber strap…made it a bit better, but still didn’t wear it much. Thankfully, not long ago, you came out with 2 bracelet replacements. I bought the “J” version. I now love the watch and wear it all the time. Thanks!
Sweet!
You sold me. Bought it. Was not sure about the taper to 16mm but I can’t get over how comfortable the watch is after I put it on. I was like…wow that is comfortable.
Thanx for the innovation Marc. No need for me to shop for a bracelet when I clean out your inventory to build my first watch. The 20mm/ 16mm is definitely worth intense thought. Aaand @ the price point mentioned, it’s a no brained. Thx again and all the best!! brt
NO BRAINER !! Dammit
Thank you.
Been waiting for this…thanks Marc!
I got the J style for a Citizen NY0040 a few weeks ago. Very happy with it. Endlinks fit perfectly.
Sweet!
Marc, I asked this on the other side as well. You sure you are not also the Lock Picking Lawyer? Great video as always!
bracelets are fire
Please please please make a bracelet for the sne549 style watch
I’ve been waiting for these, thank you! I have the blue one with the rubber and haven’t been able to find a bracelet that fit
Your time has comr
I love the Jubilation Bracelet! 😉
😂
Need to get this for the 38. Wish your videos showed them on wrist!
Sorry!
What about a bracelet for the Rangemaster Mechanical?
Will you make a bracelet for the SNE549?
I have a small collection of those screwdrivers now. 😃
I'm waiting on a solar Islander diver or flieger 🙏
Noted
Just got a turtle online from macys and it has some dings on it kinda bummed think it was a display one, not sure if I should ask them to send me a new one… it’s supposed to be new
Marc, does Long Island Watch offer a bracelet for the seiko 5 field SRPG 39.4mm?
I didn’t see anything on the site? Perhaps the Mitchel bracelet is compatible?
Will skx ceramic inserts fit this model ?
Do you have any bracelets to fit the new 41mm solar ref SNE597P1?
No wrist shot Mark? We need to see how they fit on wrist
Next time. Sorry!
Do you have any bracelets that fit the Orient Baby Triton?
I wonder if it's also compatible with seiko sumo solar & ssc diver chronograph variants..? As they're also got 20mm lug width
Do you have bracelets for the SNE549 ?
Nice bracelets. Speaking of solar powered watches, will there be a solar powered Islander?
Everually
Will those bracelets fit the Seiko Speedtimer..??? The Seiko bracelet is not very good...🤦
No, sorry.
I always put mine on sailcloth straps with deployant clasps from Artem. Much more comfortable than bracelets, and smart looking but still waterproof.
Sounds nice
Longisland watch should make a Mechanical version of this! 😏 😅
I should!
Hi Marc. I really like the looks of these. Can you tell me if this three link model will fit my GS SGBV 243 (20 mm lugs)?
Thanks.
Nope
oyster and jubilee ?)
Will these bracelets fit the SSC range?
They have different endlinks so probably not. If you want a bracelet for the SSC 39mm chronographs, Strapcode has some
I'm searching for an aftermarket bracelet for the new seiko spb383 the new gmt . Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sorry, nothing here
Any Seiko Sumo Solar GMT bracelet options?
Not yet.
If not adjustment on the fly its a no no for me
These fit an SSC019 by chance?
No, sorry.
Hi Marc and everyone around, I have an honest question, which of the Seiko Solar Divers do you prefer? The 38mm or the 42.8mm?
I got the 42.8mm. I have a 7.25” wrist. It fists perfectly. The 38mm would be too small.
My 42mm SNE591 wears beautifully on my 6.75" wrist. It wears smaller than the 42.8mm diameter might suggest. I'm normally in the 40mm camp, but this Seiko fits great, perhaps because of its small dial surface (30mm), thin profile (only 10.7mm) and lug-to-lug span of approx. 49mm. The watch, with its Sub-like looks, refinements (chamfered flanks), high-end feel (except for the bracelt), and specs, is fantastic. Unfortunately, not so fantastic is the OEM bracelet. I've ordered the "Islander" multi-link (aka Jubilee-style) bracelet from Long Island Watch and, based on the specs, I'm anticipating a notable improvement over the OEM bracelet (which doesn't taper at all, is rattly as heck, and has Seiko's ubiquitous cheapo stamped deployment clasp and hollow end-links that scream novelty watch.) Hard to understand why Seiko, for the few dollars more that most would be willing to pay, hasn't 'machined' (vs stamped) a proper clasp and end-links for such an otherwise capable and good-looking timepiece. Long Island Watch's 20mm "Islander" bracelet will hopefully be the work-around for that deficiency. TBD
I wish your Orient Mako oester bracelet have an Orient logo on the clasp.
That would be MUST HAVE for me.
I've given up on Seiko. Terrible specs, terrible price. For these bracelets, 3 holes of microadjust is satisfactory for a jubilee style bracelet as the links are short. For oyster style it's not enough. Need 4 as a bare minimum but prerably 6. Half links are extremely useful as well.
6 elongates the clasp too much. No thanks
I wish Seiko offered better specs for the price they charge. Then again, if it gives you an opportunity to make some money…🤷🏻♂️
Their loss my gain!
mediocre seikos are never great out of the box. they need numerous upgrades
Then they are great.
Hmph, where do you find a mediocre Seiko?
Like
Thank you
Lovely bracelets! What size spring bars do you use with them?
Same as Seiko OEM
