Secret Features in Every Mario Game

Hey guys welcome to a video that I had a lot of fun making that involves me going through the most secret features that Nintendo doesnt want you to know about the Super Mario Bros franchise. New Super Mario Bros for the DS actually does tell you that you can play as Luigi at the end of the game. After the credits is a secret code that shows the buttons you need to press next to a silhouette of Luigi's head. Even though you can play as him whenever even during the beginning of the game where it shows Luigi in the opening cutscene instead of Mario.

In mario sunshine if your low on water (or have no water) then jump on the blob enemys (there real name is gooble i found out) then they spawn water bottles its in the game you just almost never need it

Here's something I want to point out.
In mario galaxy 2 if you already have 6 hp from a red mushroom if you get another one you will get a 1up instead.
And in new super mario bros 2 if you play as Luigi the gold flower will make him silver instead of gold

I'm surprised people didn't know about the charged jump in Super Mario Bros 2. I couldn't play it without that jump.

I never knew Super Mario Land had a level select. Not that I’d find it useful since the game is so short.

In 3d land, if you blow into the mic, the flowers in the game will disappear, probably happens in 3d world too

One thing on super mario world is in a level you can press start and then select, backs you out of that level. Easy way to get lives or power ups

the water bottles also appear in the Petey Piranha fight in Bianco Hills. "IF" and that's a big If, you end up running low on water, when he vomits up the goop or you jump on the gooble they will drop water bottles.

Because people don't check the trees and take the canon instead. Well, at least that's how I first did it.

In super mario bros 3 i actually figured that one out on my own, although i thought it was about the timing, meaning i would make sure i had a full "p-meter" before getting to the end!

With mario 3 i think as far as i remember also half P speed gives you flower and if you just jump into it mushroom
