- After 16 plus years, the '82 Cadillac with the Eldorado 500 V8 is back! Found in New Jersey under pine trees with 4 flat tires, it made its way back to IL. With a lot of work needed to bring it back, be sure to check out this video to see the before.

An amazingly creative project... the colors, interiors, seats, all of your work, is truly impressive. Bringing back your Cadillac to a glorious new state of repair is a thoroughly worthwhile effort. Please keep posting video content, so we can enjoy your progress. You made my day.
That's pretty cool! Not too often do you see someone get back one of their old hot rods with only 900 miles added since selling it!
Jeff, Mike in Dallas. Glad you got the machine back. I remember seeing that the first time in I think Crystal Lake at a cruise in or something like that one night and could not believe the stance and the sound out of that Caddy!!
Love that build. I also like budget aspect to the build specially the explanation of how you fit rear tires.
Love this fleetwood, always wondered what happened to it. Great you got it back can't wait to see the progress on it
Jeff, I’m really glad to see the caddy back to where it started. I know you’ll do her justice by making her strong and nimble. Really neat stuff ! Please do videos as you do the work on her.👍😊
Great tip on the ozone generator. Thanks!
I think this is the car I remember seeing in Hot Rod magazine back in the day, might had even been a "reader's ride". I remember it being set up for road racing, and it had lightweight bumpers (I thought I remember it saying they were fiberglass though). The brake ducts stood out to me. I've always wondered what happened to it and couldn't find any info via Google. Then I saw this pop up on Facebook! I had a couple of these in the mid 90s and glad to see it's still around!
I'm very interested in seeing more!
I still have that Real Street Eliminator issue of car craft
Carcraft history
What a beautiful car! I had a 1980 caddy eldorado Biarritz that I loved. Unbeknownst to me my mechanic who kept telling me that he would fix it, towed it to the junkyard without letting me know. I am still hurt! No apologies, nothing. My answer from him is that he did not know what happened to it. The story goes on. I filed a stolen report with the police who basically told me, “to bad, so sad.” I had plans for my caddy and now it is only a dream. Aw yes,the American way.
Really good content! Why did you pick that car to be your hot rod back in the day?
