There’s many things I think Jake can improve on but one thing I absolutely respect is those moments when he’s honest and says what other people are reluctant/afraid to say. He will say it as it is!! Love that!
There have been more a dozen 2000yrd Rbs in the NCAA. We have seen it before, hell 1 guy on the list did it twice. What we have never seen is Travis!!!!!! Lil Flip said it best..."Game Over"
Travis Hunter is playing offense and defense, and it is Elite on both sides of the ball. I have watched him make amazing catches and a game winning defensive tackle on the gold line 🤯 .. he has played two seasons in one . Ashton Jeanty is a great runner back he also has a great offensive line.. BUT IT IS HUNTER.. 🤨
Camron skattabo won the award. It came down to the loss that knocked cu out of the 12 championship game. Cu had 2 candidates and still didn't make that game and thats what the voters are looking at.
Challenge for the boys: take every opposing team's #1 WR stats against CU this year and compile them, treating them like a single WR for an entire season; and then compare that WR's stats against all of the real WR's in CFB. I guarantee that WR will look MID at best.
Gents I did it for you, would love someone to check my work. This compiled #1 WR had 35 receptions for 368 yards and 1 TD against CU (Travis). This does NOT include the 6 receptions for 121 yards and 2 TD's that Jayce Brown had in the 2nd half of the K State game with Travis on the bench.
Travis Hunter gets 110 yards in 10 catches against Nebraska on defense he makes no tackles and no picks but hunter worship continues. Troy Edwards got 405 yards from 21 catches against Nebraska twice the yards per catch. And Troy didn't get the Heisman. Watch game film on Hunter. He does everything in his power not to tackle. He allows people to score rather than to tackle them. He's ranked 900th in defensive players. If he gets the Heisman it's not because he earned it.
Sure, it would have been great if we had a chance to beat BYU during the title game, but this is a no win situation for CU. BYU lost 2 of their last 3 games, if we don't beat BYU by a lot, people will say look you couldn't even beat up on the cougars, and if we somehow lost even by one point, we will never hear the end of it. Plus after you have been to San Antonio once or twice, that's enough. Plus why is it more expensive to travel and stay in San Antonio, than it is to stay in San Diego? It's very close to the same distance away. One is by the ocean and one is by a mission/fort, give me the ocean every time..
BSU can go to natty… If Ashton does not win Heisman, system is completely broken. He’s going to break Barry sanders record in his next game, could not be his last game. The guy already has the yards after contact single season record through eight games, if Hunter was so good, why don’t they give him the ball every time and why do they have three losses to unranked teams and not even in a conference championship game, let alone the playoffs
I’m Hunter and #SkoBuffs all the way. But I do have to say, I don’t like the “recruitment” argument at 15:00. It’s the same argument awful SEC people are using to debate why they should have 5-6 teams in the playoff, because they recruit “NFL-level talent” and thus deserve more consideration. We could use that argument now for Hunter vs Jeanty, but just know that same argument could come back against us next time it’s a CU Buff against a player from the SEC or Big10.

Not just WR 1 but WR 1 in the best room in the country.
It's funny that people like to claim Travis doesn't tackle yet one of his biggest highlights this season was a tackle.
I’d say 2 of them. I believe it was the same game where he went straight through the block/stiff arm

11:10 not only cb#1 and wr#1, but both of those rooms are among the best in the country

It’s funny when Jake changes his voice to mimic what others are saying 😂
While San Diego is nice for fans, a ball game in Texas will be amazing for Coach prime to recruit more good players
There are more college football players from California than any other state in the country. That's how CU became a powerhouse in the 90's.
Dillon Gabriel is in the Heisman conversation…. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Danials didn’t make a notable game so stop that.
Been several winners that didn't play in a championship
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone send this to ESPN so when they hand the Heisman to Travis, it all makes sense for everyone not paying attention.
I’m a Colorado native and mom used messy Marvin often. Which is strange because I’m a bit of a OCD beat freak.

Beannie Jake is here
I got Travis at +6000 for a smaller amount, but I put $150 on sheduer. I should’ve put it on Travis….
I think the Heisman is a toss up after Friday nights game. CU got screwed with the Alamo cup and now the Heisman
How they get screwed with Alamo it’s has the biggest payout out of all bowls except for the playoffs
Sometimes it’s best to just keep quiet.
