Good morning Joan, love the finished canvas. I have to place to hang my finished Diamond Paintings. My wall have original art from Lahiana Gallery in Newport Beach, CA. The artwork reminds of an artist, who name I can't remember. I believe this artist work is between 1900-1959. Have a wonderful day.
Wow! It's beautiful! So much more colorful than I expected. I have a question that has nothing to do with this video. D you save any special shaped drills? If so, how and where do you store them? Thanks!
I need to learn from you - you only choose canvases that fit your portfolio book. I have this awful habit of choosing canvases that are too big that I don’t know what to do with them after I complete them 😅. Thanks for sharing!
I think the size is the main reason I don't have a pile of Diamond Art Clubs. The canvases just seem to get bigger. I wish there were more smaller ones with pictures I like.
It is so funny. When you asked a year or a bit longer ago about the labels being removable, I replied that they were. You said you were happy...but I think I completely missed the fact that you can't express emotion via typing very well and what I should have said was they were removable to the point of falling off. I end up adding some tape runner to my latest DAC paintings (because I have it) but I'm pretty sure I was working on this canvas or one that came to Joann's around the same time as this one and I just ended up using plain old Scotch tape to hold them down. It was my first experience using DAC labels and it was so frustrating. Every time I'd open the case, I'd find a few labels sticking to the back netting or lost in between bottles. I'm about 75% sure I did this canvas as soon as I got it because I was in between projects and waiting to start something else (perhaps to do something seasonally appropriate) but I can't totally remember. Scratch that, I'm absolutely certain that's what happened because I just looked at my Instagram. I started this in August 2021 ahead of Drills and Chills (the only one I participated in). I really loved the abstract background and how it turned out. It reminds me a lot of the overall feel of Leonid Afremov's artwork, but also it's own thing. I'm glad you're happy with how it turned out. I am pretty sure I flew through this one because it was such a joy to see come together. :)
I guess before the problem was that they were not removable. Now they are too removable. I think I flew through this project too just because of how colorful it was. Plus DAC did a good job rendering the picture or maybe it is more the picture works with DAC's rendering style.
@@JoanDiamondPaints I think abstract works best with their style. The farm paintings and stuff they do don't look very good generally (Dreamer Designs appear to be a bit worse, imo) but anything with an abstract nature turns out great.
I make my journal myself. I do share the template Shared Diamond Painting Files link drive.google.com/drive/folders/1peFyyoospZsV6NH-dYKkWNnVPYXnBAqs?usp=sharing
Love this painting. Your mom will be proud that you are hanging up a picture (even though you are just replacing one that’s already hung up!! Lol). It’s refreshing to hear a different perspective on DAC and tells it the way it is!! You always make me smile. I haven’t commented in a while but I still watch! Hope you have a great day! And thank you for taking the time to share ❤❤
I don't really have much wall space left. I even have some framed diamond paintings in my closet. I try to be honest in my reviews since I am a diamond painter too!
Ohhh, Joan, this is so BEAUTIFUL!! I love it so much! The colors are amazing! So glad I got to see you frame it, because I'm only on my 6th DP and it's a beautiful 50x40cm and I definitely want to frame it, but wasn't sure how. So, thank you very much! ❤😊
AB stands for Aurora Borealis. The AB drills have a coating on them that give them an iridescent look and it reflects light different for a different sparkle.
Very colorful! It turned out very nice! 😊🌻🌼🌷
Thanks!
Absolutely love this type of video
It turned out beautiful have a lovely day 😊

I do save my special shaped drills. I store them in a photo box like all my other drills but I have them order of color and shape.
