YOOOO I WENT TO TECH AND CHASED THIS CELL. IT WAS MY FIRST CHASE EVER, AND I WENT WITH OTHER PEOPLE FROM THE ATMO DEPARTMENT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT, IT WAS INSANE!!!!
You definitely had the mojo this year! I'm really hoping to take a workshop with you in 2023. I dodged a couple of tornados on this particular day (May 17) in Big Spring/Sterling City but nothing to show for it as I was constantly on the wrong side. Michael Snyder posted an epic shot with a tornado and nice light from my storm near Sterling and it was almost enough to make me give up and drive back to California. There is definitely an art to this, and you remain an inspiration. SOME day I'm going to figure out how to do this...and hopefully not get killed before that happens.
So awesome to see a different angle of that gorgeous storm! I was on the backside and live streamed while it touched down but Reed was under the base and caught I think his brief tornado was a separate one. Either way, count it :)
I'm subscribing to you and watching you all the time. Truly, you are a blessed photographer. can never see a tornado in Korea. Typhoons come in summer and autumn in Korea, but this is not the case. I'm really envious. Should I immigrate to the US? Hahaha Always be careful and take great photos.
@@MikeOlbinskiNow that you mention it, there were some good texas ones and March-April outbreaks in Dixie alley, but total tornado count is below average now.
*WOW❣️Clouds can take amazing shapes🤩It's almost like the Rorschach Test😎Unbelievable*
*Best regards🤗*
Beautiful views.. I had forgotten how flat it is in Texas

As long as it's on my screen and nowhere near me, watching that funnel form was amazing.

Would be so fun to have you along dude! That Sterling storm was tough, I know, Michael got in a good spot, but others had a tougher time.
@@MikeOlbinski You’re an awesome guy, you know.

Great video Mike! Lisa and I would love to go in 2022.
The tornado season may have been below average, but the monsoon is going great.
