I'm in the US and the entire Today crew (Karl especially) makes me wish I was a Australian. Glad you left comments on for a few of these videos. Love the clips and wish I had the show.

I am an American but I always watch this show because of Karl, the guy is just a legend. Lisa and Karl are the best, I have never laughed as much as I did watching these two and the Australian accent is what makes it just perfect. I just can't believe that Lisa is gone now, it probably won't be the same as it was.

Aussies tell it like it is, no airs and graces or trying to fit a role, they just speak their mind. Probably the best thing we Brits ever did was shifting a ragtag bunch of misfits to the arse-end of the planet and saying "Right, look after yourselves, here's a few months supply of water and we've seen some giant mice that bounce around on their back legs, you can probably eat those!" :D The guy who said Karl was a proper bloke said it best as I have an aunt down under in Brisbane/Brizzy and she has said that calling an Australian fella a 'top bloke' is about the best compliment you can give an Aussie guy, she says it means they are proper salt-of-the-Earth stuff who would have your back when you need it, and we saw a lot of that in WW2 when we needed it :)
I've been telling my husband for several years I want to move to Australia, this is just one more reason. Our news presenters are so Blah, politically correct and ridiculous as far as journalistic talent. I'm afraid the Aussie's hate us like every other country. We're not all douche bags, maybe if I visit them first they'd give me a chance. These folks are fabulous!
