In this case I think it might be easier just to create a histogram the old school way with custom bins and countifs() function to count datapoints that fall between each bin. Then create a column chart of the count values.
Maybe you can try insert column or bar chart instead of using histogram. When I insert the histogram, I really can't paste special after copy the figures. But it works when I used the column as the graph.
@@teotzeyongc229 It is sad that Microsoft continues to randomly change functionality and menus. I'll try to revisit this soon and see if there is a better method now.
I am not sure exactly what you'd like to do- see this video where I add a normal curve to a histogram, and see if those techniques help you. If not, let me know what changes you'd like!
It works! However I'm starting to think that there isn't a histogram chart in excel by default for a reason. This method of displaying the data serves no purpose compared to a bar graph and only if you're in a stupid statistics program will you ever need this.
It is very complicated. But it does work!!! I can never thank you enough!!!! Really do appreciate it!
omgggggg youre a geniusssss, thank you so muchhhhhhhh

It works. Difficult to remember those steps. I think using textbox, manually type x axis value is much easier. Is there no other such option ?
I went with textboxes. Not very elegant but it worked
unfortunately paste special is grayed out when i try this :(
when I click 'on tick marks' it just moves the tick mark to the center of every bars 😭
Thank you really helpful.
Please guide me how to adjust bar width, proportional to class width/height
It works well. However, I can't get the X-Axis label to appear at the bottom. It keeps appearing at the top. Where the original values are now white.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!!
my excel 2016 dun have the secondary horizontal option, may I know how can I activate it??
Cannot "Paste Special"

Same!
Well thought and devised.

Thank you!
Thank you, I've been looking for the answer to this for a long time, but how do you do this for 2 or more data sets in the same histogram?
