There's cancelation and accountability. Making a mistake, growing and showing how you tangibly understand what you did was wrong and are making real changes to be better is worthy of forgiveness. There isn’t one person here that doesn’t remember things they’d done & wished they handled them differently. We ALL make crappy choices from time to time! The key is to LEARN & GROW from them; turn them around & into life lessons. Manny (& Laura too) are great examples of ppl who have (publicly) made some poor decisions & been through some (public) humiliation, but hv also learned & grown from those mistakes. We all have watched it unfold & we see who they’ve become. I think Manny is such a unique & extraordinary person here and holds such a one-of-a-kind space in the world - there’s nobody quite like him & I think it’s such a shame when we see others who are unwilling to forgive & move beyond things. Why hold on to the past or live in it if they, themselves have clearly grown beyond those times?! Where would humanity be as a species if no one ever forgave? The planet would be a much uglier, harsher place than it already is. Compassion is always the answer.
