I happened to see an interview of a guy claiming that his story was copied and used for this movie after being rejected by DreamWarrior pictures. The guy literally narrated the entire story. It's on the 'Idam Valam' channel. Not sure if there is any merit to it but the story that he narrated is similar to the movie.

Boss, if you are truly genuine and honest then you should have expressed it on public forums like X or podcasts in time (for something happened in a public show in 2012 with SK it is too late to express your apologies in public).. also you should either try avoiding to talk about your films that didn’t do well or openly admit the flaws when it released .. it easily feels like you are mocking those producers and directors for your promotion.
