He is wearing a architects top because one of the lads from architects wore a Royal Blood tshirt before they got famous,
Lars was probably hoping that Ben had some talent falling out of his ear and tried to snatch some up
Saw these guys this past weekend at their first show of their NA Tour. They are awesome live. Part of their appeal to me is the fact that it’s just two people.
Saw them at LTL and I have to see them again!
I’ve been a fan of them since Adult Swim aired this song in a commercial break once back in 2013 or 2014.
I love how Adult Swim shows different artists that are up and coming and some established ones too.
Could they have sounded bigger and better with more band members? Yeah, of course. but any band could make their music sound bigger and better by adding say a full orchestra to the mix. This is what it is and it is good. They have their own style but more importantly, they have their own way or writing music which works for them. I saw them recently supporting Muse and they were amazing. They have crafted something which is their own and they have focused on getting it right and perfecting their art. And you can't really ask for much more. Some people find it a little on the boring side, but, i think the same of most EDM which is often just one person, one computer and a lot of repetitive beats and rhythms. Music is objective so, I think that these guys are best sticking to just the two of them. They have their style and they have their fans.
They do more with 2 than 90% of bands do with 5.. I love it
Ha ha...I'm sure Ben was never worried about Lars....Lars was more likely taking notes!!
They have some songs on the last 2 albums with some background instruments. But making it a "full band" would most definitely take at least some of their uniqueness. And having seen them live, they really don't need any help to get a crowd going
Amazing sound outta that bass.... Fuck-it, amazing duo, i don't think they need more people.
Stay a 2 piece band. Very unique and they show they don't need a guitar.
Yes josh!! Glad you liked them! Definitely check out their studio recording of it❤🤟
Saw them live yesterday for the very first time in Colombia, and they were absolutely awesome. From the moment when they get on the stage to the last second of the last song they give it all!
I seen this band for the first time in 2015 on the CarsonDaly show that came on after Jimmy Fallon.... i loved them ever since.
Hi from France :) i loove Royal blood 🥰🥰 and this song specifically.
Incredible live band absolutely flawless
This song reminds me of Finn Balor’s theme Catch Your Breath. Also I saw RB live back in September, the drummer tried to toss me his sticks, but it was too short of a throw.
Royal blood is amazing. Been awesome watching them play and evolve since 2016. Wish they would do more u.s. shows but if I could get away with only playing Europe I would too lol
Truly unique sound. Super vocals. Who rocks harder?
Well duh they would sound bigger. All bands would sound bigger if you add more instruments.
But the way you say it sounds like you're thinking they sound thin and are sacrificing something because it's "just two guys" when the other one of them is really playing a bass and two/three guitar amps through the magic of octave pedals and phase alignment.
Yes that forces the bass parts and guitar parts to be in unison, but you can't really claim that the main riff in Redneck by Lamb of God sounds thin?
Why is it that we only hear neckbeards bitching about a lack of fuller sound when it's a band with "just bass" and nobody whines about Animals as Leaders lacking in sound when they don't have a bass player in the band?
What is the first outrosong from your video?
