'here comes the big buffalo'......no, here comes MOMMA!!
what a little fighter the calf was, he wasn't going down without a fight
Today Tomorrow forever keep strong dear yearling wolves. This video proves how you wolves care about balance and efficiency at the same time..
Momma, I had everything under control before you came.. 😅
A MOTHERS LOVE
Wolf: Dinner Is Right Here, Why Is It So Easy?
Calf: MAMA MAMA YOUR HERE
Wolf: THE HELL
Also Wolf: OH CRAP
Mommy Buffalo: HERES JOHNNY!!!!!!
Buffalo plays a mothers role.
Very brave calf at its very young stage he learned to figth for itself agains the predetor
Amazing footage! You lucky son of a gun!!
You could tell he wasn't the Alpha male of his pack. If he would've been that calf would have been dinner.
Must be a very young baby buff. I was thinking the same thing. How did it nurse? Well, just guessing that the bite wounds must not have been that deep. At 4:51, that calf just senses no danger. I watch a lot of buff videos as of late. This one was very good. You were at the right place at the right time, and now have captured on film memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks for sharing your video!
怖かったね。頑張ったね。
でもあなたはこのお母さんの子供で、本当に良かった。
お母さんの愛は本当に最強です。
流石です。
That was a very inexperienced wolf. Usually they can subdue a calf in mere seconds and mortally wound it. In this case, the wolf didn't really know what to do. It also was very late to take advantage of the calf being alone.
I don't think the wolf was trying to kill the calf for some reason,it looked like he was just practicing his killing skills in a playful manner. Thats what it looked like cause the calf wasn't even knocked off balance when wolf was biting his neck. Definitely strange right
Simple question. The wolf preys in such a lean fashion that the captain fox is strange
Actually, wolves, as apex predators, are very important to the ecosystem. Wolves and their prey have evolved and lived together for millions of years, and the population control of ungulates is important for the persistance of natural vegetation.
If you would like to have a civil conversation, what are your reasons for hating wolves so much?
100gr spritzer! no more woof!
Why didn't it run and escape?
no animal's evil, humans are
The fuck did humans do? Take the calf and put it in the stream? Now if you are talking about humans that kill for sport than you are indeed correct.
?? What do ya mean
pretty sure humans would take care of the 'swarming' bison. hue
Damnit moon moon...
Lol why wolf was playing with calf ?
Was this filled with a hand cranked camera? It's so choppy
Could I have permission to use for my science project?
Wolf ping *999*
Is... is that Seth MacFlaren?
That's awesome. Where were you ?
I'm confused about this video. I saw a documentary about this calf a couple of years ago. The calf was separated from its mother and washed downstream when it tried to cross the Lamar River. Further down the river, the calf was able to climb out of the river onto this gravel bar. It spent the night there. The documentary just like this video, shows the calf, the next morning, being attacked by a wolf, but the mother was on her way to save her calf. The quality of the video in the documentary was superb. The quality of this video is grainy.
This calf was there in the area for a few days with lots of people watching to see if the herd or predators would find it.
The National Geographic videographer had a $100,000 camera I was using $5,000 one. At 9:15pm there isn’t a lot of light hence the grain on my equipment.
Ya a movie made here about a yealing wolf with no experience and at the end the wolf was HUMMBLED TO EMBARRASSMENT AND BUFFALOD BY A CALF
I tauht I taw a puggitat!
Watching this on mute so much better 👍
this isn't your video, you are trying to make it look like you are on a safari that is why the quality is shit, iv seen the original buddy
Running full bore?...hardly.
What is the point of taking some video from National Geographic, substituting some crude voice-over, and reposting it in crap quality? From Season 1 Episode 5 of National Geographic's series: America's National Parks.
This guy uploaded it 8 years ago and the National Geographic did it 4 years ago so
Who is the real owner here? Probably this guy in my opinion.
You work for nat geo or you sold this footage to nat geo
What the hell wolf. Dinner on a plate
die calf dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee wolves are awesom >:D
That Bison was an awful mother. Leaves calf in open so wolf can attack it then almost tramples her own calf when charging wolf.
Yeah, But ever since the American Lion, Saber Toothed Tiger, Mammoth, and Flat faced Bear came extinct... They've become the dominant predator... So it ups their coolness... Hopefully scientists bring back some of those... I'd love to see that eco-system again!
I was hoping the Wolf got that calf! th Wolf wasn't an adult, still too young to make a quick kill. Wolves gotta Eat n that mother bison left her baby vulnerable, stupid Mama!
I've seen this same footage in a documentary video, it's on UA-cam. The buffalo were crossing a river and the current swept the baby downstream. The mother would never abandon the baby!
Don't filmed such cruel thing with laughing
Ok
Wolfs are over rated they aren't that ferocious a man would beat one in a fight.
so, you think wolves would fight like humans, maybe in a ring, with gloves? Or would they be doing Fight Club? Normally wolves are pack hunters, which helps with large prey. This wolf could have been the Omega of his pack, and thrown out (not a good life as the omega), or just decided to leave his pack, likely there were many male wolves in the pack.
This wolf seems to have no skill in attacking any thing. it does not know were to bite . Stupid wolf or its a yearling .
Baby Calf IS THE WINNER. Your video prediction is WRONG☺. Do not quit your day job dude. You think you know mother nature
like that dude. Bad commentary
to. One day it may be your turn
to be hunted by the wolf, or bison,
bear, 😊
Волк слишком трусливый
definitely not the Alpha Male. Had to be a young Wolf or it would have had the calf on the ground by now. Looked like it just wanted to play really.
I know I've seen a video where a one female wolf killed a bison on her own
Stupid wolf!
When the wolf attacked the baby, the little bison was just like, are you playing with me?
He/she was not impressed by the wolf!
