As requested I saw them do this song live, at this very show, at the NEC Birmingham UK. and what a great show it was. Saw them first in Newcastle 1979 and finally on the Snakes and Arrows tour at Newcastle. they were great in all the shows I saw them.

Alex and Geddy always had the coolest, and most interesting haircuts throughout the years.

I’ve been watching this concert dvd for as long as I can remember, it will always have a soft spot in my heart as a musician and person. I was especially fond of that animation as a kid.

I love the animation blending into Alex strumming that first power chord. So fun!
And - as always - the lyrics contain a timeless message that is still relevant decades later.

My college dorm room routine in 1996 was to sit back at night and play this VHS beginning to end until it was no longer playable.

Geddy's sound and bass playing during Power Windows and Hold Your Fire is one of the most often overlooked features on these two albums, as is Alex's massive, heavy solos. One song off of this same tour that I can't recommend highly enough is Mission. Especially this tour, this version, live. You won't regret listening to, or reading the lyrics on that one as it's one of their more inspirational songs.
It's ironic that Rush fans fell into he same trap that Neil wrote about in Witch Hunt, when it came to their late 80's and early 90's albums. "Quick to judge, and slow to understand. Ignorance and prejudice and fear walk hand in hand." when these five albums still contain everything people love about Rush, just with a different format.
