Best game from USA since the 2nd Nation's League where USA beat Mexico 3-0
Brazil didn't press us, so we don't really know how this match would have turned out otherwise. Bielsa isn't showing us all his cards now, as you might expect before the tournament.
clown
Bielsa is Uruguay's manager, not Brazil's
@rangerlee11 Oh, right, I had it in my head, not sure why. the pressing comment is still valid, tho...
@@r2dad282 Absolutely, wouldn't be smart for any manager to go all-in on a friendly.
Ream was pretty composed on a few plays out the back with Brazils forwards pressuring high. I was surprised by that!
Have you never watched him play for Fulham?
The only thing that’ll make me believe in any sauces is a different outcome against Colombia and others next week.
My thoughts exactly
America played well overall and I enjoyed how we took it took to Brazil and attacked for a change... almost every chance we got. Thats our issue we don't attack as much and it really showed with the lack of possession against Brazil. "Like make it fun GB".. turn those young men loose and let them run and be tougher too. We need to be a "no nonsense" team too.
😂
Agreed just play more direct you can’t go 100mph forward all the time but I think playing out of the back all the time with our players just isn’t the best tactic for this group
I loved the performance of Our Beautiful USA Men Team against Brazil Dear Alexi I blamed Gregg alot but this time He had put true roster against Brazil.
😂😂😂😂
USMNT grows out of concacaf when they regularly win away from home in concacaf
If USA score first is going be difficult for the teams to equalize, more gaps open when the teams pretend.
😆😆😆😆
Since GGG as a manager, the USA team has not progressed, it's a fact!!.
Getting excited about a Friendly 😅 Brazil didn’t press. The second wakeup call is coming next week 😂
🫵🏻🤡
Sounds like a Mexican fan that is projecting their own loss 😅
lol.... is that your argument. Of all things you could have argued, that was the dumbest argument. Given that they actually did for long periods of time. In some cases poorly in others effectively.
Its a preparation game which im sure brasil took serious just like the mexico game. My take is that thanks to both keepers the final score wasnt 5-4 at the end. And man was that some hirrendous referring🤦🏻♂️
Yeah when we get a good result in a friendly it's brazil not trying. But when we get blown out by Colombia after making 5 subs, without Pulisic in 2nd half and no Tyler Adams we are trash and cant compete with COMNEBOL Great insight
Everyone is excited about this result. Brazil drew Mexico the other night. Turner had 11 saves. Not an impressive game. It’s a friendly, fire Gregg
😂 Brazil drew Mexico when? Mexico lost to Brazil Reserves
USA tied and could have won against Brazil starter team last night
Brazil fielded their B team against Mexico. Also, they lost.
@@DaddyFutbol I got it wrong. They scored last minute to beat them, my bad. Still uninspiring results for both squads
one of the highest upvoted comments on this video is just a dude completly wrong and having zero clue what he's even talking about. USAMNT fans everybody. THIS blinded by hate
@@SilverKen15hey Ken. I got corrected, admitted it, corrected myself. Doesn’t change the fact Brazil fans should be worried, and that Gregg needs to go
Good game but the defense is worrisome given the fact that brasil is currently 6th in conmebol rn and we saw why, they cant finish. They need to do better than this vs Uruguay
The Ball that Brazil scored from, is not really a Goalkeepers error.
In soccer you have to play and there are passes for example if they get to the midfield point and the adversary steels that pass from you, as long as your formation was correct (which it was in this case) that's not an error pass.
The problem was the reaction!!!
The US midfield and especially the Defense was SLOW.
So, the solution is you have to be ready whomever is closes to the ball to stop the adversary's execution. Somebody on the US side could have stopped Brazil with a sideline or a corner of a foul, which didn't happen, and that due to slow reaction.
The other solution is to cover the player with the ball and force him to choose a more difficult option, which also didn't happen, and it was because the US players reacted slowly.
The Rule is, the player that saves you from receiving goals, which is the keeper, can make bad passes, assuming that it was the pass that started Brazil's goal scoring opportunity.
The US team should have reacted faster and with specific ideas such is make it harder on the Brazilians to do what they want, and not just limit their angle in front of the goal.
Usually if the keeper feel he has no coverage helping him, he feels under pressure and his reaction slows down. It's an experience to learn from and that is it.
It was not the US goalkeeper's fault, you can't has any goalkeeper to be 100% perfect this is not an individual sport. Everything should be collective immediately after the other team gets the ball, otherwise you're basically helping the other side psychologically.
A goalkeepers error would be something like losing the ball inside the box in front of an attacking opponent. Or making a bad pass in the immediate area outside the box while your formation changed from defense to offense (which was not the case here)
This is learned from experience. You have to have 1 or 2 defenders or 1 midfielder who excels at reacting FAST.
They scored a lucky goal and parked the bus for 70 mins and somehow they think they are acomplished something amazing
I want the US team to play better but if it was not for Matt Turner they would have gotten destroyed again
I didn't finish watching the whole game, but the 1st half was horrible, it should've been 3-1 Brazil at least. Bad passes out of the back.
You guys sound like espn laker crew. One game doesnt mean things change. When it is a friendly.
you guys have literal panic attacks when the USAMNT loses a friendly. Now when we tie one the entire significance of them is gone? Literally a meme fan base.
Brazil is going through a rough patch. They’re 6th in World Cup qualifiers and in danger of being left out of the World Cup. Normally they’re 1st place with a huge point gap to 2nd place. Perennial last place Venezuela is two rungs ahead of them. So don’t get your head in the clouds b/c of 1-1 tie. It’s more like a 6-2 in the last two games. That’s shameful in my book.
the secret sauce : dont attack and park the bus 😂
Not as much about shape or style, the biggest problem with this group is taking days off. They are all soft and can’t string 2 solid performances together in a row, based only on lack of effort. That’s never good enough to win anything. I see them 1-1-1 in the group and then who knows in the knockout. That’s too many games in a row for this lazy minded team. They need a real leader as coach who can fully motivate them to be consistent
We tied with Brazil and your subscribers will still be calling for gregs job. Worst fanbase in all of sports
This Brazil team is a joke
And so is Gregg.
Stop being delusional
@@MaximusTheChosenOne little bro you are a literal meme
No.
McKennie needs to lose 10-15 lbs and get in better shape.
He seems uninterested out there
This is the worse Brazil soccer team I have seen in my almost 50 years of life.
imagine being THIS blinded by hate and still pressing enter
