🤗🤗As a car enthusiasts, i would clearly give my staple to city against verna.
Looks ...... Verna has unprecedented design gets with modernized looks. In citys has slick and settled design. My clear choose is city, No second word.
Interior ...... Verna has a Pretty nice interior with more sophisticated dash. City has simple nice cabine. You wouldn't boredom after 10 years. My Pick is city.
Engine ...... Here, verna turbo charge is clear winner. But we are torque fanboys and city was famous for diesel powertrain. Dieselhead should be mine.
Safety ....... Here, Hyundai doesn't clear glimpse over it. Only top model has given more priorities.
In terms of city's, you know well, city never disappoint in safety. City even gets the ADAS in lower trims. But not in verna. Tomorrow verna had accident with bullets. You can't expect how cracked out it is.
Space ..... Both car have minimalist difference.
Comfort ...... you should be consider Verna, because it's articulate for this purpose only. City has a stiffer suspension.
Millage....... Of course, verna ever backtracking in this term. City only best for gets the millage in hybrid Powertrain. But it doesn't worth considering.
Price ...... Hyundai played well here, because to compete with city only one trim is remain comes under 10 ex. City has decent price distribution.
In conclusions, if you are looking car for your parents, or so called profesional its for you.
If you're car enthusiasts, prepared to drive the car more like before. City for best daily driver. ( My perspectives only )

I agree with you but we have to consider this too that after introductory prices I guess they will increase price by 50k secondly city offers the ADAS to most variants which is always a good option for safety but verna is expensive and thirdly in India it will mostly be used rarely if you don't use highway..

When the city was launched people equally hated city for its looks, same thing here in case of new verna, people will hate in start but the design will grow in minds of people, just like creta, people didnt liked the new design but we saw that the SUV was selling in good numbers, same will happen with the verna, infact this design is better, looks like a fast back or lift back car front taking its cues from more expensive sonata and overall design is somewhat inspired by the luxury genesis brand of hyundai. Anyways verna is a sedan king and with the 1.5 tgdi turbo producing 160 bhp, it will rule the segment once again, for me hyundai is the only brand in india which keeps updating its cars simultaneously with the updates given in foreign markets, a company that really takes indian market seriously, apart from the build quality which they reduced the hyundai products are top notch.
