Wow, i am a guitarist and i ponder this peice. The most beautiful peice of music. A symphony so incredible. And a single pianist one musician, one instrument captures it. The piano, So Amazing and MAJESTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A symphony performs the nutcracker during the ballet at my local opera house and it’s pretty prestigious and it’s my dream for them to let me play this as a solo basically.

The older man seemed to have reached the state of nirvana when listening to this piece. For the other members of the audience, it was just too many notes for their collective ear to comprehend!
Although she performed this piece admirably, it appeared that she was struggling with the octaves, omitting the various dynamic markings that Platinov had written into the score. Perhaps performing the correct notes was higher priority for the talented pianist than chancing it with musical brilliance. Yes, hand size does matter and it's a real challenge for the pianist who can barely reach a ninth. Still, it was well performed!
