Breezeway Blend has definitely been my favorite rum of the year for 2024. Took me a while to bully the liquor distribution system in Colorado to get it, but it was worth it! Favorite single cask Ive tried this year is actually the 2021 release of Holmes Cay Guyana Uitvlugt 2003. Great single cask if not a bit expensive. Took me quite a while to find it so I'm behind the curve, but it was a great rum to try this year :)
I really need to try that uitvlugt. I’ve heard great things about it. Nice job gettting Colorado to pick up the breezeway. I’m sure others in the state thank you lol
Thanks for showing me that shakara earlier in the year. I think it has this fun bajan but not but different thing going on. Loved it! Absolutely a steal and a fun bottle.

i thought i would be purchasing alambique serrano otoño this week, but once i realized jablesse was out this weekend, i decided to hold my funds until then. thank you for bringing it to my attention, because after missing out on the lm&v trinidad release, i am *not* missing out on jablesse.
I know the feeling, I’m planning on buying 2 bottles of the jablesse. Hopefully it’s as good as the Flag. I will say that the more I have the otono, the more I really think it’s a great rum
This is such a great video. I own about 80% of the bottles you shared and Shakara 12 is my clear favorite. I don’t own and haven’t tasted the Cambodia 2016 flag series but I’m going shopping tomorrow and Lincoln road package store should have it!
Great video. The three from Rhum JM are delicious and very different from some of their other offerings I've picked up. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering the Rolling Road rhum Agricole. Excited to see how it taste.
Nice recap of rums! I just received Don Papa Sherry Cask and I'm looking forward to tasting it this weekend. Never had any of their rums. On another note, as you yourself mentioned them in this video, I will receive my Fortaleza Blanco & Reposado next week. I can't believe I found them in a Greek online store (I'm in Finland). The price, I hear you ask... well... the blanco was on sale (-10%) so it was 85€ ($90) and the reposado was 101€ ($107). That is a lot of money for a bottle, but if I don't enjoy these, I will never buy another tequila.
I'm a Rhum JM fan. Out of those 3, I do prefer the Epices Creoles for cocktails. But I agree the Terroir Volcanique is truly something special at its price, and I was devastated when my best store was out of stock here in Austin last week. I'm starting to grow jealous of your collection at this point - so many great bottles!
Pulled the trigger on a Papas Pilar Flagship Dark Rum. The cool bottle design and story behind the brand caught my attention. Was very surprised by the quality snd complexity. I dont drink to often and living in PA the rum selection is very limited. So it is an easy win for my rum of the year hahah 😂.
been on the fence about buying the shakara love the label and never had a rum from thailand, have no clue if they just changed the label but i have been in love with the holmes cay single origin figi rum as a neat sipper and in various cocktails well worth the 45-55 dollars in my opinion

14:08 Hampden Gold is an unaged Jamaican rum at 40% , high ester level. Looks golden but it's just coloring

Not sure how widely available but I picked up Saint Benevolence's Clairin Rum for $28 here in Florida. Lovely 50% abv option for Haitian r(h)um.

Those prices for the Fortaleza are an absolute steal compared to what we have to pay here in the US. Would love to hear what you think of both

Yeah, I think the HC Fiji did change up its label to like a blue-ish one. Great value on that one for sure.
The Raising glasses Trinidad 21 (750ml) is available at my store for $165. In your opinion is it worth it🤷♂️
