so much benefitial this speech, and it is all true, I have experienced all this in my life, and I was almost going crazy, I didn't know what was wrong with me, where to find the peace, get to drinking, drugs,?? where????and then I finally find that inner peace with Allah, dhikr, reading the Kuran is like a miracle cure to my whole state of body and mind,so it is really true every word this sheihk is saying guys, just practise and hold tight to the religion, dhikr, may Allah help us all inshallah
irenalb Zikr has some powerful affects. I know what you mean. After a period of time of practicing zikr you start to feel a divine presence. I think it's what's called "sakena" in the Quran (peace and tranquility). Only the person who does zikr understands that feeling. Prayer also has the same affect. Then the feeling is heightened and comes easy during Ramadan.
